@@clarejennings5049 First of all, pardon me for using "our" in my first comment, when I know nothing about your struggles. I just simply assumed that we were one and the same because of how much your comment struck a chord with me. If you're asking for the specifics of my situation, then it's more or less about 75% of what Duke detailed in his notebook. But, if you're asking as to what my "crooked man" is like (of course you are. Do I not even have basic reading comprehension?)... I suppose he's like a silent voice always by my side, always telling me to do things that I know I shouldn't, and making every endeavor I pursue riddled with Murphy's law. He's like a constant 'call of the void'. That is, if 'call of the void' was more than just a moment invaded by intrusive thoughts. Well, I'm sure it must have not always been like that. But, like Duke put it in his conversation with David... "Well... ...There must have been good things... ...There had to be... But... when there's so much sadness and pain, it makes you forget there was anything good... So... I have no other choice."
Omg this is amazing ❤ but so sad we couldn't save Duke...💔
We did save him.

One day I wanna make some fan continuations of the strange men games
I hate how much I relate to Duke..
Nearly everything... F*ck...
Me too. Everyday sounds like our own crooked men are beckoning us over to their side.

If you don't mind my asking, what's your "crooked man" so to speak
