@ I’m down! Alta Loma was such a fun climb, even through all of the fallen trees and bushes. An unforgettable time with my old man. Appreciate you guys clearing it out and hope to join.
@@IronMountainPlumbing we will have to make it happen, if we don’t get more snow soon and the gate is still open we could go up for a day and put in some work, otherwise I will wait until spring or summer. You will love it even more when the trail is clear all he way and we can get Alta Loma, Etiwanda, and Cucamonga in one day 😁
@@AngryNotSoOldHippy I imagine it looks different than the last time you visited. Do you have pictures of the camp before the fire? Or pictures of the prospect cabin? Hard to find much online
@ I’ve gotten this same answer from most people who went there prior to the 2000s. Thought maybe someone would have taken a snap shot and that photo might be buried in family albums. Well, thanks for responding 😁🙌
@@miis05 Yep. :) Well, I'm with the San Gabriel Mountains Trailbuilders, our inventory is Big Bear, Baldy, Crystal Lake, Coldbrook Campground, East Fork, West Fork, North Fork, in the San Gabriel River Ranger District. Cucamonga is outside of our inventory area though technically it should be on our inventory. Some other group has responsibility officially.
@@AngryNotSoOldHippy I’ve communicated with both SGMT and SGWA and that’s typically the issue concerning who does trail work in Cucamonga Wilderness. SGWA has it in their inventory but as you can imagine there is so much work to be done in San Gorgonio Wilderness
Thanks for all the hard work you do to maintain the trail
@@Kennythesamuri you’re welcome 🙌😁
Looks like a great trip. Sorry I missed it.
@@gordonchase8708 no worries Gordon, I’m sure we will return again in the future. Hope you can check out this trail some time, it’s a cool place
So awesome! Hope to join you guys some day. It looks awesome with some snow. Hopefully everyone went home without any ticks
@@IronMountainPlumbing that would be awesome! Or I can go up with you. We didn’t have any ticks fortunately, I think it was too cold for them

Golly! I have not been up there in over 20 years :)

@@miis05 No, I have no photos, I'm not sure if there were digital cameras the last time I was up there :)
