Not sure about the Sheffield gig, but he was invited to perform with the band and accept the award at the Rock 'N Roll Hall of Fame induction in '19, and he turned them down.
Def Leppard shouldn’t even tour with the cancerous Motley Crue, Def Leppard sounds better and has a much better attitude towards their fans and way more class and they don’t have to result to doing stupid things on social media to get likes and attention. Motley Crue has become a pathetic excuse of a rock band and Def Leppard is hands above better in all categories. Great sound fellas 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Pete Willis Guitar style was more like Angus Young. Thus why early DL sounds like AC/DC young brother with more melody.
