Pasta reached 60 goals today (4/9/23) scoring a hat trick against the Flyers. This contributed to the Bruins winning their 63rd game of the season and setting a new NHL record.

It's so funny to me that 18% of Pasta's goals so far came on the California road trip. Because he's had Zacha (18) feeding him all season.
Those Czech guys, Pasternak, Zacha and Krejci play so well together, I can see why Pasternak wanted to be moved down to the second line. Cause his fellow countrymen complement him so well, it’s almost like they play a style of hockey unique to Czech players, and those three do it so well.
@@zoomzoom3839 I'm not so sure it was explicitly his decision but he's got the best chemistry with Krejci for sure. The main reason though is because JD was struggling to be consistent on the second line over the years, so he was flipped to his off side and put up with Bergy and March, which has entirely revitalized his career. The best thing about hockey is you can be flexible in the middle of a game if you need a jumpstart on offense. You can put Pasta on the top line and mix around the strongest middle 6 we've had since Lucic left.

The best player on the Bruins is the Goaltender, Linus Ullmark, guy has a 31-4-3 record and a .938 save percentage. Boston’s skaters are scoring goals and doing their thing, but the reason why the Bruins are so dominant is because they give up a historically low number of goals. Boston is second in goals for with 233 in 61 games, but they have the least amount of goals against, they’ve given up just 130 goals in 61 games. The second lowest team in goals against is Carolina with 155, that’s an astonishing disparity. That’s just how good the Bruins goalie play has been.
Best player is pastrnak number don’t lie bruh, and pasta isn’t only the best goal scorer on the bruins this year, he’s been doing it for ages now.
And Pastrnak with Zacha and Krejci... nice czech line...

That’s what happens when you have the puck on ur stick as much as he has, pasta is a creative and unpredictable player turnovers are just bound to happen.
