I have a single rectefier and I've been trying to get those tone but it's so bassy, even with bass set at 9 o-clock and mid's and trebel at noon with gain at 10. Any thoughts?
@@robotjeansWhen you say gain at 10 do you mean 10-o’clock or maxed? Maxed is too much. I keep my bass around 10:30-11 o’clock, mids around 1:30-2 o’clock, treble same as mids, gain just a hair past noon, like 12:05 o’clock, and presence at 3 o’clock. This is on modern for the distortion channel. Cab matters too. I use a mesa rectifier cab with vintage 30s. No pedals at all not even an overdrive.
