I live in Maine too, I always love fiddlehead season! I’ll have to try apple cider vinegar next time I get some. Awesome videos man keep it up!
Them single single hooks tho...😂
Needed this video just caught landlocked salmon at east grand never cooked it myself before first time
Lol that’s awesome man! I’m headed to big lake for Memorial Day weekend. Hoping to get ahold of a salmon there.
😂😂Can tell how salty you still were about the trip. Top notch!
I just moved to Maine. About to cook my first l.l salmon on the grill in foil!! Man your fish looked delicious
Great content really enjoy it from hunting to fishing.
Great vedio..loved it friend
beautiful salmon
Great job!!!
Sorry to hear you lost the brookies. One tip I do, is sharpen the hooks after each fish. Hooks need to be needle sharp to get through the tough jaws of Salmon. I check the sharpness by scratching my finger nail. Tight lines
Man your videos are awesome man. I’m in litchfield but would like to join you this winter never iced fishes up north but would love to give it a try.
Ya its the big ones that always get away
Sucks about those brookies man they looked pretty nice. Do you have any tips for trolling small ponds, I've got a local one that artificial only but holds Brook Trout. I haven't ha d a lot of luck yet out there casting spinning tackle or trolling.
holdenmc6 do you have a fish finder? That’s the best way. Find the bait and troll at that depth. In the spring you can get them in shallow water but they will go deeper as the temperature stratifies.
So why do you keep the motor going with a fish on... it's just creating more drag on the fish...
William, keeping the motor in gear helps keep the line tight. Salmon can easily outswim the reel retrieve rate especially if you are trolling into the wind. If you are going with the wind, good chop on the water, you can either slow it down or put motor in Neutral. Hope this helps.
Whats the backing color on that north east troller you were using?
Copper? Silver?
Love the NE Troller spoons... what size single hook do you use? I was considering changing out my fleet....

Trying to figure out which Lund model you’re in... rebel xl sport with a 90-115hp? Looks like a sweet inland boat.
Tyler Morrall yup. Rebel 16ft 90hp
Nice little rig! I’m gearing up now for Lake Erie steelhead in my Lund explorer
Painfull to re live those loses lol!
Would love to know your trolling speed for lures and speed for bait
Bait is slooooow havent dialed that in yet, but it’s around 1-1.3 and spoons 1.5- 2.5z I like 2 the most for spoons
Just to let people know. Boiling vegetables loses all the nutritional value of the vegetable
You have to steam the vegetables to keep the majority of its nutrients
Iiii like it
