Love these videos! I just discovered these fellas a week ago. Im building a 1967 Ford fairlane and dropping in a 351 Cleveland with 4 speed toploader. Im getting lots of tips from the Clevo King! Awesome!!
OMG. That BEAUTY is a BEAST. Watching test drive kind of made me nervous. I was waiting for it make the rear tires beg for mercy at the top of each gear.
@@rustynutzz3504 Sounds like an odd colour combo but sure it will look hot when its done. Im a Holden guy but love the XY utes and should bloody move with that displacement

Perhaps you could give some info on the stroker kits for the Cleveland and the costs, which kits are the best and pitfalls to look out for. Which head combo from CHI you would recommend for a street driver that behaves well in town and not to much of a bitch to drive. As in drivability and still ok vacuum for the breaks. Cam I'm running has 12 inches vacuum and brakes still good. Crower hot street beast. Cheers
What is the brake setup on this? I am thinking of upgrading my XB ute with Wilwood on the back but I guess if you do the back you gotta do the front? Any changes needed to brake master cylinder when going from drum to disc?
The drum brakes need a lot more line pressure then a disc that’s why they make the proportional or adjuster valve to help get the rear bias right. Wilwood also make a little piece that can keep the pressure in the line too if needed. You should be fine going to disc if it’s now drum on the rear as the disc needs less pressure anyway.
Would you recommend a stroker over a 351 for a street engine? Seems everyone is going 408 but is it good for longevity? Also solid roller on the street how long would the lifters last for street duties?
Check out Zoran from Competition Engines in melbourne talking about the 0.937 lifter bore conversion for roller cam durability on the street, and also the issues with 408 pistons vs the new one they have designed. Very cluey dude 👍
Beautiful Build...but you could use a few lessons from a Real 4 speed driver...Its a Roller Cam 3V Stroker Cleveland...the second the motor starts to get happy you up shift... Let that thing eat...Brother..👍😎
Hahahaha you claim to build engines and you cant even pronounce the correct way of the heads. CHAI!! Hahaha what do you think it’s a tea?? It’s C.H.I 😂😂😂😂
Not biased, but Clevos have to be best sounding old school V8s ever, ,👍

Not yet mate, it’s the next thing to cover on our red Xd build the front end Reco!
Really nice man may you pleade share what cooling fans you are using
I’ll have to ask the customer next time we catch up
3v?? It's not 3 valve per cylinder is it? If it is,,is it 2 exhaust or 2 intake?
3v has been around for a while it’s like a tongued 4v head. They are the go to for Drag racing these days.
What compression ratio is that motor?
Not sure I’ll have to ask next time I see the owner
How did yall do that shaker?! I like it doesnt have the lower blue part from the factory.
It’s a hi rise shaker kit I think competition engines sell them from memory mate, we have one but we made it ourselves.
Cool thanks for reply! Keep the cleveland vids coming! Be posting some of mine once I figure out this UA-cam thing!
Cant seem to find it. Seems pretty simple to make.
Have a more detailed picture how y'all made it?
