  • In this video I switch from a weight distribution hitch to a regular hitch and add Sway Control. My weight distribution hitch was required when I had a RAM 1500 due to weight and tail squat. With the RAM 2500, I no longer need the weight distribution hitch which weighs 108 pounds. The weight of the hitch caused issues with two discs in my back and I needed to find a lighter solution. the EAZ Lift sway bar was added for additional control on highway trips. EAZ Lift.

Scott, just remember you have to disconnect (or at least loosen) that EAZ lift sway bar before you back up at any significant angle or that tongue ball will tear right off the mounting plate. Ask me how I know. 😢

Hi Ron, when I added the storage bins in the front basement and loaded the back of the truck with stuff I take camping it was pretty level. I run another trip yet before I make any adjustments. Thanks for watching.
