any thought on my sub, out a 6 speed spec 8 in my Subaru bug eye wrx , there is no speed sensor plugged in, while I drive maybe 10 seconds down the road the car starts to feel like it locking up, is this because of no speed sensor and the abs is locking the tires?
The ABS should not lock up the tires even if the speed sensor isn't working so it might be a mechanical issue of some kind or possibly a rear diff not matching issue. To fix the speed sensor, you should look into this part. iwireusa.com/products/vss-pro-with-iwire-plug-and-play-wiring-harness?_pos=1&_sid=1f6a0143c&_ss=r Some mechanical information that may be helpful is at the bottom of this link iwireusa.com/blogs/iwire-university/this-dictates-that-iwire-rules-of-thumb?_pos=1&_sid=e2f767394&_ss=r
@iWire Subaru Wiring Solutions Awesome thanks! I have a '19 wrx and I am doing the swap this weekend since I blew my second trans. Just ordered a si drive dccd controller for the swap and wanted to make sure before I ordered your kit.

The forester transmission would not have DCCD functionality. Are you trying to do an auto to manual conversion? iwireusa.com/blogs/iwire-university/subaru-auto-to-manual-transmission-conversion-basic-overview
Yo! 13 wrx just bought a 13 sti wrecked for the transmission. Can I use the sti harnesses and controls in the wrx ? Can I use the sti cluster in the wrx? Thanks
It would not work in non STi models because the ECU doesn't have that feature. It would also require the STi cluster to transmit the information from the analog switch to the ECU for that request via CANbus.
Would the dccd controller be recommended if you delete the abs system? Asking since ive heard mixed reviews about deleting the abs system messing with the dccd and wheel speed. 2007 Sti

Does your kit fit on 5 speed dccd transmission?
Absolutely!
If you choose the led option does the kit come with the led or do you need to supply that yourself?
The LED and mount will come with the kit if you choose the LED option.

😍👏👏👏🔝🔝🔝🔝
Can I use this on a 2000 2.5rs to add dccd
Hello i know this is an old video. But would you know where to find the standard dccd ecu on a 1998 sti type r
Unfortunately, we don't have anything specific, but they should be available online through places like eBay or Facebook.
Very much appreciated for the prompt response. Hope you have a good day 👍🏻
just a question does the original DCCD have the G-sensor? this is the first time i'm hearing about it.
Thanks
Yes. Any Subaru DCCD with auto capabilities (2001+) will have a G-sensor built in.
What options do you have for a 4EAT Subaru Forester?

So what do I need for 2010 wrx

So why wouldn’t the Side Drive button not work especially if it was the same year of an STI swap, the ECU I’m assuming???
It would not work in non STi models because the ECU doesn't have that feature. It would also require the STi cluster to transmit the information from the analog switch to the ECU for that request via CANbus.

Without the ABS working the OEM DCCD will not work so you would definitely want this controller if you remove the ABS system on your STi.
