I see a lot of jokes about the owner's eyes in the comments and him being on drugs. You are right, he was. He is undergoing heavy cancer treatment and was full of painkillers to be functional.
Good for him to fight an illness by seducing himself in the automotive “drug”. One of the best shotguns so far on this channel, no mobile phone, just pure enjoyment. Keep it up lad
This man is superman. Just look those eyes that wanna be shut in pain and rest, and the excitement that goes beyond that state of suffer and put him in race mode happy. Full respect and fast and safe recovery, man!
Glad to see more OPCs on the channel. Recently bought a used 2017 Corsa OPC myself, yet to take it to the track but its helluva fun driving that thing on the street. Little go kart.
Nice lap! Had a Corsa Nurburgring Edition myself for a couple of years. What a fun car to drive with it's lsd! Super nimble and a beast at cornering. Beterschap man!
You just gave him a greater pleasure/distraction from his situation ,better than hospital related drugs! I can relate, hope he's better soon so he can put many miles on his cool car.All the best to you both!😎👍✌🇨🇦
Beterschap Arwinopc, hopelijk gaat het al stukken beter sinds dit in augustus was opgenomen (Zandvoort F1 GP). Thanks for showing some Opel love Misha, think this was one of the last fun Corsa's, I drive the new GS line, it is limited to around 175-180kph, they took all the hot out of the hot hatchbacks with these limited 3 cilinder turbo engines.
Always wanted one when i was younger. Proper cool seats, and driving if the have a diff. Owner is wearing full benz branded outfit which i find kind of funny 😂
What a great surprise for him! Thank you for making so many peoples days and lifes better. Always great to see a Corsa OPC driven by misha! I miss my pikatchu 😂 just tomorrow I’ll hopefully change to an i30N which will hopefully also stay with me at least 10 years, like the Corsa :) thank you for the great content and entertainment.
These cars do not come with an LSD stock, not unless it's the Nürbrgring version of the Corsa OPC. Which is also sits lower compared to the standard OPC, has better brakes (Brembo), better dampers (Bilstein), forged alloys and more power.
Cool to see this car on the channel, I have been seeing this car for a couple of years in my hometown, For better words i see it everyday around the block parked where the owner lives, have always wondered what it could do and it was a pleasure seeing it
Fun little car, cool driver I can tell he'll learn as much as he can from the lap. Always fun when the passengers go home with homework and a shopping list for the car and are excited about it.
🤣👌 Priceless, the look on his face said it all. Another great video and this time, although not unusual to see the owner being amazed and sometimes outright scared, this guy just sat there with eyeballs that at times looked like they would pop out of his head 😳 For such a pocket rocket it goes to show how a good driver, who is familiar with circuit, coupled with some decent brakes and tyres makes so much difference. So good to see how far you’ve now come, through perseverance and determination. Thanks for the entertainment and inspiration.
These trolls on here are so quick to judge, I wish they were as quick to look at the mirror and see where the real problem lies. Great lap, great car and great video as always mate.
the term "rolling" is used here in the states for people that have no need for the pain killers. god bless this fella. praying and hoping you'll be cancer free my boy!
Misha, with a less powerful car, does it make sense to short shift, lets say at 5000 rpm, instead of 6500, because ive noticed with many cars in your videos the speed is climbing signnificantly faster when you upshift. I guess its because the torque is higher in low revs, but arent cars supposed to accelerate faster in the horsepower range rather than in torque range? I hope my question is not pain in the ass.
Most lower powered cars have smaller turbos so they die off at higher rpm almost like a diesel. At the end of the day you need a dyno graph to know for sure.
For example, my Peugeot 307CC with it's stage 1 remapped EW10A (RFJ) engine needs short shifted. It has a CAI, stage 1 map, RFK muffler, that's about it. It has redline at 7k but it drops off power sharply after 6200. It's best to shift around 6200-6300 as it has a lot of low-end torque from 2800 on. It can pull in 5th gear from 60km/h like an absolute beast but it has no top speed at all because it's just a 5 speed with short gears. It barely does 190 but it gets there real fast lol. It needs a 407 Coupe 2.2 6 speed box swap tbh.. My Civic D15Z6 is the complete opposite. It only makes power from 5600 onward all the way past redline. It's limited to 7100 but it could go to 8 powerband wise. Typical Honda. No torque only HP up high and very linear increase in power. You have to shift that thing at redline every gear with it's super long eco gears. It'll do 230 but takes 3 years to get there.
@@ImprezzionOfficial Thanks guys, i had a ride in a Civic the same generation as yours, guy said it was vtec and it had around 170 hp and after a car meet he took 4 of us to eat, so with fairly big guys he got to highway and from 100 kmh (60 mph) he accelerated to 220 (137 mph) on a speedo and he did it in a stretch of 1.3 km, thats 0.62 miles, or 4000 feet. Does that seem like it had 170 hp or was he lying? :D Also that 307 seems like a fun car, you dont need top speed really.
Hope he gets very well 💯and not gonna lie, id smoke a fat ass blunt before i hop in the car with misha. He’s a awesome driver but definitely a wild ass ride , you will shit your pants. Definitely isn’t the first reaction he has had. That guy was having a awesome moment. My eyes would had been way wider then his
The owner was wide-eyed for the whole lap... I think he was more than impressed... He was blown away... But Misha was acting like it was a Sunday drive... As usual, great driving by Misha. 😃
