May I add that perseverance is necessary in all aspects of life. I crashed my Harley on the highway a couple months ago, I wound up with a total shoulder replacement surgery, I was doing my physical therapy exercises while listening to this wanting the whole time to quit You inspired me to persevere Fr. The lush overabundance and ease of Hawaii shows us how we can be snared by sloth and pleasure; while the parched, hot, rocky, and snake infested desert can reveal beauty and wisdom unsurpassed. Perseverance and our love and trust in God will win for us revelations that will shape and enrich us beyond understanding. If one thinks they're on the road to Paradise, and all they're doing is traveling at 100k down a smooth road... well, guess what? That's not the road to Heaven.

I was touched by the first reading at Mass this morning, from St. Paul to the Ephesians 4:1-6 where he says as the last sentence: “There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God who is Father of all, over all, through all, and within all.” Humble , patient perseverance is key to the spiritual life because everything is governed by the Lord, and our lives have to be lived at His pace. I keep persevering! I woke up today I thank God for that… no one else. The pain in my left knee never stops and even my right new knee troubles me but I keep on trying to improve. When you are older it’s harder to make your body bounce back that’s for sure! 🙏

Thank you Fr Mark. I am trying to help a good friend recover from a major brain injury that has effected her cognative function. She is single and has always been fiercely independent, but now refuses to get the cognative therapy (she doesn't see her deficits) so she might be able to be independent some day. I am walking a fine line of encouraging her that she needs help and telllng her what will likely happen if she doesn't. I have been through diffacult times myself, but never gave up, and it is hard to deal with her insane stubborness. Please pray that she will somehow realize there is way forward.

I had a serious spinal cord injury 23 years ago and should’ve not survived, should have been a full quadriplegic in the least…. But Christs LOVINGKINDNESS has always been with me, the struggles haven’t always been easy but knowing Heaven has always been at my side not much stops me from doing anything. I was diagnosed with a rare Neuro cns disease 21 years ago. I started a fast healing trek this summer after intense family trauma and realized the IF and stem cells it can create, better supplements and detoxing I had been studying about and trying was finally pulling me out of the very thick and toxic mud. God's grace got me this far and I pray will keep me on the best path to complete this natural health journey. Get me out of my own way way, Lord. Jesus, I Trust in You.
