I've played this for years in blitz. One of my go-to lines against the Maroczy is 1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 g6 3. d4 cd 4. N:d4 Nf6 5. Nc3 Nc6 6. Be3 Ng4. Also, Lev Alburt wrote an excellent book about this opening about 25 years ago, which has lots of interesting information on sidelines.
12:00 - In the maroczy bind i will recommend people to look into the move Qb6! It might look ridiculous at first, but it really takes white out of theory, and if they don't know what to do it is easy to get an equal position. You could also by playing a different move order (Nc6 instead of Bg7) go for the gurgenidze system, which makes it easier to play for black
Really great, Agad. I look forward to more opening analysis. I like that you are applying your tactical analysis to this opening and look forward to more.
This is very similar to the King's English as white with the idea of blocking the Queen from taking the rook with a knight, it getting attacked by a pawn and then counter-attacking the queen with the other knight, I get that pretty much once a day at least and it's my favorite line in the opening, because it's so tricky. Cool to see I can get similar positions as black, too, I'll definitely try that out.
I have been waiting for this video for a while so now to master this opening and play like Antonio. Great video and I will definitely have a go this opening.
I've loved this opening since I learned it almost three years ago! My former coach GM Kayden troff has shown me a lot about it and I score quite well with it!
Great video! However, I missed a lot of traps where white plays f3 too early and you have d5 immediately to equalize or even win, I fell against an IM very early and have been using this ever since with great results. For example 7. Bc6 0-0 8. f3 Qb6! and white is in trouble already.
Bro it is the first time I am leaving comment because I really liked your video content it was soooooooooooooooo useful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Make more on this similar content if possible. Thank you !!!!!!!!!
hey Agad, you should do more like these! It's very informative and I enjoyed it.

There are better lines in every variation that he showed. My coach taught me this 6 years ago. I have been using it since then.

Delayed castling is definitely way better at club level in the Yugoslav, even if it is considered the secondary choice among the top players.
Bro this has to be one of the best chess content out there in Internet. Nobody is close to him.
Every short and sweet on Chessable is more comprehensive than this. This is just a short video
Suggestion # Ding vs Magnus Grenke
The final line was weird but interesting ❤️❤️
Thank you
I just spent 3 1/2 hours studying these lines.... my brain feels heavy 😂
I can’t find that Svidler-Topalov game you were talking about…

the thumbnail goes unfathomably hard
Love this. :)
MatoJelic was so many years ahead of Agadmator...
True! Mato is a legend
I not need to memorize moves.. i need to play chess😂
😂😂😂 right
And lose
If I could memorize moves I would 😢
You need a new brain, the one you have (you know very well) does not work.
What engine do you use. I'm new to your chsnnel
What if white plays the Maroczy bind?
There is a chapter for that :)
@@agadmatorThanks 👍
That examination showing why you should not be win you
I play the against the Sicilian with 2. Nc3 and if black tries to play the hyperaccelerated dragon they are in for a world of pain 😈
That time when agadmator gave us more than our money's worth.
And after move 3 you just trade everything...
c5, b3, game over, 40 years of using this, black is screwed, dont take my word, check it out
