I saw through that instantly when i was seeing the movie a few years ago i've always been ridiculously in tune with what people think and how they act even things that are hidden like this and that is why i thought they made a magnificent job in the way they portrayed it

However, I'm more interested in the reasoning of mc's changes. Did he changed bcuz of the bullying he received? Or he would've changed regardless. Basically was the change natural or just an outcome of him receiving the bullying.

I don’t exactly know who said it, but damn someone was annoying saying he deserved to be alone and treated as a bully. I mean, that was karma but there were other ways. ALSO THEY BASICALLY ALL BULLIED HER, YET THE OTHER KIDS GOT NOTHING AND SOMEONE IN THE REACTIONS PUT ALL THE BLAME ON HIM!! I hate that. Yea, some people think he deserved to be alone and to want to kill himself, but those people are 10x worse than he was back then. Yes, he bullied Nishimiya but he also learned from his mistakes and became a better person at the end of the day unlike everyone else from their class that not only took part in her bullying, but otright REFUSED to ever admit they'd done it in the first place. I've been on both sides as Ishida, so I can relate with having that guilt, but as I grew older I NEVER repeated any of those actions again and apologized in more ways than one for what I'd done. Even after everything, sometimes you'll still feel like a bad person even when you know you've changed, so sometimes you're your own enemy and especially in cases where you go against your own better judgement. In no way am I trying to downplay the bullying either, I just think as long as you can mature and apologize for what you've done then you can become a better person contrary to what so many believe!

Everyone has been talking about how good the manga is, and I won't deny it, especially in terms of how better-paced the storyline is. But there's no denying that the studio poured their blood sweat and tears in animating every frame of the movie, how the colors and their adaptation of the manga's artstyle match the theme of the movie. The music is the cherry on top for me, I couldn't ask for a better soundtrack considering how it worked perfectly with the artstyle and theme of the movie

I’ll never forget while watching this masterpiece I had to pause it after the Ferris wheel video scene and physically walk around my house for a bit 😂 never done that before. Testament to this beautiful movie
what makes this movie so special to me is that it uses real life struggle, beautiful soundtrack, original concept, and how it makes me related with those struggles. and the more you rewatch the movie the more you understand the little detail and the meaning behind every sign and character.
if y guys want to see the better ending, i would recommend to read the manga, some of the stories are not told in this movie, y can see the nishimiya's family backstory in the manga too, its really sad
while i like this movie and enjoy watching peoples reactions to things i have to say one thing that annoys me is that people who watch this movie are either dense or not paying attention half the time people seem to ask a lot where someone is going or what are there doing or why something is happening or coming to very wrong conclusions despite the fact that it was clearly explained take the festival part for example Shoko says she has to go home and study and yet everyone is asking where is she going even though she just said or when the sister asks Shoya to get her camera everyone asks wheres he going or saying hes going to get shoko even though it was just said where hes going and what hes doing like i said i think this is a good movie and i do enjoy reactions but half the time it just comes off as annoying when it seems like half the time people aren't even watching

日本ファンの間では川井が一番嫌われている。何故なら映画では気付かれにくいが小学生時代確かに西宮に他の人と違って陰湿ないじめをしていたから。クラスのみんなと歌う時西宮はみんなの口元を見てタイミングを合わせていたがよく見ると川井が早く口を開けて騙している。この他にも隠れて悪口を言ってたりとこの映画は漫画が元に作成されたが映画には無いシーンが多い、川井の悪行はここ他にも漫画に沢山描かれている。
もちろん漫画には描かれなかったシーンの感動やキャラたちの心情が色鮮やかに描かれている。日本人ファンとしての意見だがどうか漫画を読んで欲しい。
