- UKRAINIAN troops destroy Russian storage facilities with fuel and weapons intended for the invading forces.
The 45th Separate Artillery Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said the Russian base burned all night.
The brigade said in a statement on 4th June that they used two drones to carry out the attack, and one was destroyed by the Russian forces’ return fire. However, not before inflicting maximum damage on the enemy facilities.
The Ukrainian military also claims that Russia has lost 1,386 tanks, 3,400 armoured fighting vehicles, 690 artillery systems, 207 multiple launch rocket systems, 96 anti-aircraft systems, 211 warplanes, 176 helicopters, 2,395 motor vehicles and fuel tankers, 13 vessels, 551 unmanned aerial vehicles, 53 units of special equipment, and 125 cruise missiles.

Actually a commercially available unarmed drone vs. aa missile alone is a good trade for Ukrainians both financially and also strategically since the AA battery gives away it's position.

Aside from the earlier complaints of broken or faulty equipment and half the soldiers getting frostbite 🥶, getting hit by friendly fire was a common occurrence that you can hear the Russian soldiers complain about.

That is not one of the cheap consumer drones. They fly on electric power and produce no heat signature to be traced by a rocket.

First of all you have to remember that this is the Sun newspaper, doing "reporting" on the cheap. They just rehash old official Ukrainian videos, released on Facebook, put their own logo on the top, and the word Newsflash. They don't take an awful lot of care over their titles or captioning. So this one took them 2 days to add their caption and post on UA-cam. Quite quick for them. If you want actual newsflashes, go to the source, not this rag. Note that this is a fuel storage depot, which we can assume the Russians were stealing, and perhaps under the assumption that Ukraine would not risk blowing it up. It is not a weapons facility. That implies manufacturing, not storage in my book..

So, I don't understand the writing on the screen, but I'd like to ask where is this? Is it inside russia? Or is it inside Ukraine? If it is inside russia, how can this attack be done? And if it is inside Ukraine, how can russia have such a large weapons facility in Ukraine? That's strange. So, if we asume that this is indeed inside Ukraine and it is a Ukranian petrochemical facility, which has been taken by the russians, it makes more sense. Or it could be on the part of Krim, that russia took years back. If so, it is also a very far reaching weapon. SO I don't think it's on Krim. I ten to think it's a Ukranian facility, taken by russia. Is that correct? Can this be verified?

This is a sunflower oil producing factory in Polohy, currently temporarily occupied by russia. Weapon used by Ukraine was likely a 2S7 Pion, but it also may have been M777 with Excalibur rounds. Unfortunately Ukraine's economy is being continuously undermined by russia's indiscriminate attacks, and this won't help in the future either... but obviously it was deemed that destroying russia's equipment is better than trying to save the factory, especially if it'll help to get the territory that the factory is on back.
Only when I saw Eastern Ukrainian sceneries on the English speaking UA-cam, I got understanding how beautiful my region was.

IMO So far this is only a war between Russia & Ukraine. The Ukrainian military are used to flying MIG29 immediately. Not F15. Totally different aircraft and they would need a month of training. There are so many MIG29'S available by former soviet countries available but those countries would lose their only air defense. Poland gave up its 27 Migs when it got replacement aircraft from the U.S. to keep up its air defense as Polish pilots could fly F16's too with minimal down time as Poland is part of NATO. The U.S. will not send its soldiers as it is not a war between the U.S. & Russia. British planes are also hard to fly because they got the controls on the wrong side of course/& French are French(need I explain why not those?) So far the war is between Ukraine & Russia so conventional weapons are being used. Keeping away from nukes...is the goal. If Putin can't win with so much weapons on his side against Ukraine, maybe he will pull out and admit those Former soviet soldiers are better than his. The world sees it. His hope now is to blast the country into submission (except he never tangled with FARMERS & THEY ARE A HARDY TENACIOUS BUNCH of mechanically minded guys who have fought off Locust plagues worse the Putin.
