I usually don't like a lot of fuzz pedals on the market because a lot of them sound too heavy and fizzy for my own personal liking. But, this one sounds smoother and more balanced to my ears than a lot of the other pedals on the market. I always look forward to watching and listening to another excellent review from Mike Hermans of PrymaxeVintage, and this was another great review! Keep up the great work!
I am saving up 4 this pedal. It sounds awesome & I know looks shouldn't matter when choosing a fuzz pedal but this one is so damn pretty that it hurts not to own it.
They get into similar territory. Both are tweak able in their own way. This one might be warmer? They are both voiced differently and they both are amazing. Hard to choose one!
Holy Crap! I was just thinking about pulling the trigger on a used DVK Goldtop for the 60's tone but hell that fuzz is intense! May change my mind after some more research :-P
Don't have the EJFF here to compare. But this one is easier to dial in with a 2 voice toggle switch and bias control. Very warm sounding fuzz that cuts nicely... Highly recommended
