    Hello everyone.
    When welding stainless pipes, there are cases where welding is done in tight gaps for high production volume.
    In this case, we will introduce a technique that can be useful.
    In the future, we will also introduce the application to pipes of other sizes.
    Thanks for watching and have a nice week.

    As usual good job. Show us overhead position technic root feeding please.

    the job is perfect but usually there are no turn tables and you cannot rotate your pipe, can you show us how to make great root pass when the pipe is fixed in place? :D

      5g position also can be welded like that in narrow gap. X ray is passed.

      I've used this same technique in the field, my root comes out more flush. Would work great to if you can get the whole plant to rotate for you.

    Walking over the wire for the root pass is good. I always, from the beginning, fed the wire from the inside, so I didn't have to be concerned over suck back or lack of penetration. No failed x-rays, maybe a spot every now and then. Hey, I'm only human. But, to each their own.
    Good job, looks good. Nice video. 👍

    Sim mestre observei bem essa apresentação de passe de raíz na plataforma giratória com a configuração da amperagem boa se faz um passe bem carregado formando uma bela raiz bem carregada e uniforme o vídeo ficou muito bom também obrigado pela apresentação 🇧🇷🙏

    I did not have a turn table and had to do it freehand .....sucks not having that type of equipment when you're doing a job on the fly.

      The tube is to feed argon gas into the inside of the pipe. It keeps oxygen out so that the weld stays clean and doesn't oxidise.

    • @woomdader
      @woomdader Рік тому +1

      @@colintinker7778 Salut, l'introduction d'argon à l'intérieur du tuyau se fait avec quel moyen ?

    • @colintinker7778
      @colintinker7778 Рік тому

      @@woomdader The argon gas comes from a high pressure cylinder. The pressure is regulated to a very low pressure and fed to the welding torch and inside the pipe. The flow of the argon over the weld is about 15 litres / minute. This blows away the oxygen that will otherwise cause a bad weld and rapidly deteriorate the welding rod.

    • @woomdader
      @woomdader Рік тому

      Yes thank you I meant the argon inside the pipe for the protection of the weld inside the pipe.
      Do you need an argon diffuser pipe at 15l/min and isolate the inside of the stainless steel pipes with tape?@@colintinker7778
