Beautiful work HagoJibi. I like how you speak of " waves " when referring to the weld pool. The fluctuations of the argon flow is hypnotizing. Awesome welds, inside and on cap ! A good watch , great content , thank you for uploading !
At work we use somewhat similar technique. Only we set the machine to pulse setting. The amp. difference between the peak current and the base current makes the weld puddle shoot forward in the bevel. It makes the process pretty quick and fool proof ( as long as the puddle shoots forward it penetrates). Great video. Like the channel.
hello fellow TIGmaster nice metal control . welded same test 45 yrs ago no internal purge , just a puff first of Argon couldn't rock the cup . nice job my friend !
You are a master at your craft.. I have been a welder for a long time and have not seen many people lay such perfect welds as you do.. Greetings from the USA🙏
Hi, HAGOJIBI! Thanks very much for the video. You share good techniques, thoughts, etc without rewards. You are a really good man. I learn lots of techniques. As for " welding stainless pipe without gaps", I have a question: If using filler rods for Sch 10S pipe, just one pass. The welding line will sink. I don't like the result. Do you have similar problems? How do you solve it with one pass? As for the Sch 10S pipe, I think at least two pass can work. Thanks again.
Thank you once again for this very informative video my friend! I weld alot of pipes like this and your video has made me understand more about this welding technique. 3:48 i dont know why but i put my hand between me and the screen lol. Keep up the good work and i always enjoy your informative videos! Greeting from the Netherlands. You are a good teacher!
You have the best welding videos from UA-cam. What color of tungsten do you use for welding on stainless pipe? Is 3.2mm tungsten better, or 2.4mm for Sch10-40 pipe welding? thank you very much for the contributions.....Greetings from Barcelona
You can use thorium-based tungsten. And you can use lanthanum-based tungsten. The same goes for the thickness of tungsten. 2.4 is good and 3.2 is good. You can choose whatever you like.
Really wish I understood the language. My 27 years of welding is pale compared to this "O" beam master. Pipe fighters are the shaolin monks or jedi in this world. To see through the fire read the puddle visualizing the surface tension and its depth maintaining travel heat input and deposit rates all while being mindful of gravity. Mega thanks for for sharing! Real arc footage helps bridge the language gap.
Nice video. Very well explained and shown! That's right, there are always several ways to achieve your goal when welding. As you said and showed when welding, you controlled pulse welding with your switch on the torch. :-) The top layer of the weld looks great. ;-)
@@LimpBizkitDrummer I think that the sponge is used to close the end of the tube, its used for purging the tube with argon, but not to make a 100% seal, it is used to let the gas go through, but keep it under small pressure so that air can not get in.
hey there's another nice method: if you use 2t instead of 4t you set a downslope about 4/5 seconds, before the downslope ends you press your swith back so you get back the main welding current. the main advantage i found over the method you show is that the arc never really stops and also you don't make the hf work everytime you go back to your main current: because as i said the arc never stops, just get to a really lower current (that you can set on %, it's the same crater current, or ending current); nice video btw, i use this method when i have a big gap also, so that i can control heat better and reduce the gap faster
@JDMotorworx wtf? No man, in 2t you set a downslope, you set the duration of it and the % of the ending current: when the time is finished the arc shut down and you have the postflow
@JDMotorworx it's disgusting, i mean 2t the way your machine are made is almost useless. Every single welding machine i've worked with, or I have owned, made in u.s.a, or europe, works the way I said; i didn't know in asia 2t "worked" that way and i think it's a useless mode (works the same as lift, but with hf, wtf). You should have a chance to try a usa/europe made machine with 2t, it's pretty nice
Thanks for watching.
Please take care of your health.

Can this technique be performed in position?
is this method work on overhead section sir?
Great root pass good caping
Simplemente majestuoso
which tig torch are you using?
Are u planing to make a video of welding stainles steel pipe 6G no gap no filler rod anytime soon?
Good
un verdadero profesional ¡!
çok güzel bilgiler teşekkürler
Hi. Can this method also be applied to over head joints or only to joints that are turning on the lathe? Greetings from Colombia

Dude, I don't know where are you from, or who you are, out what's your political views. All I know that you weld like a pro! Much respect!
10:40 what for you insert the sponge inside the tube ? By the way nice work Sr. 👍
So that the forming gas in the pipe can leak out.

That's to hold the back purge hose in the pipe.

pulse settings?
