Laurent is so tall! I hope he goes to conventions/LARPs as Vercingetorix...or Asterix...Tres impressionnant et amusant, Monsieur Laurent! Very fun video. I will try the game. :D
Never apologize for being multilingual, being intelligent enough to speak and think in another language and dedicated enough to maintain proficiency is only to be admired.
I'm halfway through the video and this is SO much fun, it feels like we're fully part of your crafty hang out ! Also I relate with the awkwardness of speaking English with french people while your are also french, all the work you did to make the accent better goes down the draaaain ahah
I wanted to make a star wars stormtrooper helmet from cardboard as seen in a youtube tutorial. They even gave out the cut files. Easy peasy right? I printed them out twice as big as they were supposed to be. Which I didn't realise until I had already cut out the cardboard. Did I start over? No. I now have a ridiculously large stormtrooper helmet. So i feel ya on the pain of wearing the darn thing.
If it gets to where it's size is inconvenient & making it in the way, you could attach a bottom to it and turn it into a small dog or cat house❤! The other critters in the neighborhood will be jealous😂!!!
what an awesome thing to do with and for your friend. yall are so talented. i finally saw your old faq video the other day and two of the things you talked about wanting to do more with youtube as a career was make the chimera dress and do more armor looks. its so awesome to see someone truly being able to live their passion
3D printers are fun but making those creations HUGE was some amazing crafting. I think the funniest scene was seeing those helmets travel up an escalator on the heads of their creators. Comedy gold, wear the fantastical while doing the familiar. BTW I know it takes a village to make a video game, so I very much appreciated all members of Big Helmet Heroes team getting their moment, especially Menza (aka Chief Encouragement Officer).
I don't game, NO coordination at all😢!!! Even as a youngster in the 70's, I couldn't control Mario jumping in & out of those pipes or onto the clouds🥺! (Talk about Easy!) But this game looks like FUN😊!!! I'd love to sit & watch someone play🤭!!!
Your talent always impresses: you speak multiple languages, sew, craft, bring dreams into reality... always love your content and my girls find you inspirational ❤
That was fun! The helmets turned out perfect and were so effective as a prop to support and advertise the game. Well done, both of you. As an English only speaker, I so admire anyone that can speak and work in multiple languages.
When cutting foam, you need a sharpening stone to resharpen the blade every few cuts. it may sound pointless with "snap off" blades but that foam really does blunt the cutting edge. Also sharpen the fresh edge before use! You only need a few swipes of the stone but it makes things easier and cleaner.
Both of you: Big helmets are so fun! The people sitting behind you at the preview event: "I can't see a thing!" Honestly though, that looks so fun! Might have to do this for a convention. 🥰
Laurent, showing his developer skills with an effortless all nighter 😂. The helmets are gorgeous, the game looks cool and I ove the fact you have a makers community all around you ❤
Hooray for supporting your local businesses. I just started the video, and wanted to ping the algorithm, thank it for the sharing, and suggest this video for chaotic whimsy, perseverance, and independently owned businesses and gaming Also, a strong accent is fine. English gets pronounced all sorts of ways, these days. Congratulations Ariel 🎉
These turned out great. I'd love to see more collaborations with Laurent, those projects you showed were fantastic. I was starting to worry when I was most of the way through the vid and no cat had appeared. I needed my dose of Not My Cat.
I loved the accent and the increased use of French. I tried to see how much I could understand! It was wonderful and fun. Also loved the crazy project. Well done!
Fun video, nice to see the past builds with your friend. I do wonder what this video would be if you just used a proportional caliper for scaling. Don't worry about blended English/French in your videos, your audience is here for your style and chaos. Great to see both helmets got finished, the convention/release party looked like a great time.
I'm really impressed by your work on the helmets! You two did an amazing job on them, especially considering how little time you had to work on them. The Big Helmet Heroes game looks very interesting, and I might have to play at some point.
I was given a key to this game to play and review on stream and now I'm even more excited to try it! I tested it a little tonight and so far I love it! It's the perfect combo of fun action and goofy extras. The helmets came out amazing!
I have several gamer friends who would love to play these little helmet guys. Well done for making the helmets. You looked like you had a blast at the convention wandering around in your helmet Hawaiian shirts and the helmets you made. I bet a ton of people stopped you to ask about the characters and take photos.
(iii.. Just dont know how people have so much energy/mental capacity to do such IT&creative job then play board games IN LUNCH *BREAK* 😭😭😭 gimme a bit :') )
This video makes me wonder why did I chose to be a business software developer in Northern France 20 years ago, rather than goijng into small game development companies in Southern France to play with geeks on messy desks... 😢
OMG! That was so much FUN! Exquisite work! The whole video and the communications were so awesome, I felt like I was with ya'll. I need a nap now with all that Fun, have a great week ALL! XOXOXO
I love this video! I love videogames, finally have my own console (which my daughter is stealing from me all the time). I am trying to get my daughter to go in the footsteps of development, IT amd everything, since she loves math and everything technical and how things work, but is also super creative. And that game looks amazing, super cute and funny and I wamt to play badly 😂
Every one of these people could spout nothing but garbage and swear words, and they'd still sound seductive and interesting. Ohhhh, that Perisian French accent!
Just a question.. Couldn't they have just printed out the skin for the helmet so that it was flat? That way you could have just translated that straight to foam without having to do the clay part? Or just use pepakura to make the 3d render into a printable design.
Pretty sure you can just get a pattern from an existing 3d model in Blender😅 Though it was fun to watch you invent the way to transfer it irl 😁👍 UPD. Just watched to the Day 2! Yay! You did it😂
This is so fun! And projects you've made before look fantastic! For theatres? Just for fun? In any case, would like to see more! And definitely will check out the game, looks like something I will enjoy, thank you! Good luck to your friends with the promotion of the game :)
At some point, you apologise for sounding too French whilst trying to speak English with other French speakers; all I can say is that I would still watch your videos even if you spoke French the whole time. I don't know if anyone has complained, but pleeease don't ever feel like you have to apologise for stuff like that, your accent is lovely. This project was so much fun to watch, the helmets are fantastic! (Also, I love the game merch, and the game looks so cool!)

*_It also reminds me of the helmet one of the Goblins is wearing in LEGEND, directed by Sir Ridley Scott._*

“Hello.”
“Hello.”
“A DOG! HELLO!!!” 😂 I love how much we change when we greet pets
I Love how they suddenly become the most important person in the room, simply by being there❤!!!
Giant helmets as advertisement for the game at a game convention is genius! Also they look so awesome and silly
UM! We need to see more of your collaborations!!! The set design stuff you showed looked amazing!!
The things you and Laurent made together are amazing 😍

You have such great friends - you really found your tribe 😀 Best of luck to them and their game!
The small amount we got to see, looks like it's a lot of fun❤!!!
It's like a cartoonist created Laurent, and I love that so much! Also, you have had such an interesting and creative life! ❤
Never apologize for your accent! I am insanely jealous of multilingual people!
Laurent looks like if Nandor the Relentless (from What We Do In The Shadows) had an alter-ego that’s the exact opposite…Rodnan the Creative 😂
I'm super here for this level of silliness and creativity! Congrats to the team on its launch!!
Looks like a really fun game🎉!!!

These turned out amazing!! You and Laurent killed these. And by God, you've got a very handsome friend 🙈
Seeing you work together was wonderful. I am glad you have art friends!
Laurent is so funny and gorgeous - I love your energy together!! amazing creative friendships always show through, no matter the language or medium

It's so fun to see you making with your mate. They look SO good heehee. Genius idea for the gaming convention, they look super cool and eyecatching!
I would love to see you and Laurent work on more projects together- this was super fun 🙂

Quel plaisir de voir cette amitié de longue date à l'écran et pour un si beau projet! Le jeu vidéo a l'air très fun de jouer entre amis :D
So cool to see both wolds united in this video.
Your friend looks so cool! Like an animated movie character (in the best way)
Obelix's cousin Computagrafix?
wahhhh this was so cuttttteee!!!! im sure this was a breather after your big dress project! It was great seeing you happy with your friends
Both of you: Big helmets are so fun!
The people sitting behind you at the preview event: "I can't see a thing!"

Those Helmets are hilarious. I especially liked the scene where you don't fit into the game thingy and walk away with hanging shoulders 😢 😂
Love the project!! So cute
I’m only a 7 minutes in and I figured out who Laurent looks like! Does anyone else think he resembles Kayvan Novak from What We Do in the Shadows??
**Creepy Paper**🧛♂️
Load all the comments and search for Nandor and you will see a lot of people agree with you.
What a cool move to promote the game by becoming a mascot
Bet you turned a lot of heads
Such clever promotion

So cool that you’re friends with Nando from What We Do In the Shadows.
The helmets were such a clever way to advertise the game. Much more attention grabbing than a t-shirt.
Oh my god! 🤩😎 it's a lot of work but SO COOL! 🎉
Your talent has no boundaries; the helmet looks fantastic! You guys make a great team!🤗
The Warrior is so cute n has so much humor in the game! And bravo on the giant helmets!!!
Great video. Well immediately went out and bought the game. Always looking for a good local co-op game.
I'm really impressed by your work on the helmets! You two did an amazing job on them, especially considering how little time you had to work on them. The Big Helmet Heroes game looks very interesting, and I might have to play at some point.
This looks so cute I can't even find the right words for it. Amazing. Love seeing you doing things with your friends too!
Im def getting this game its soo cute xD
That game looks awesome. I'll have to steal my kid's switch.
Discovered this game from PlayFrame a couple of days ago and bought it immediately!!! So good!!
This is adorable and you all are amazing!! And you're almost at 150k!!!! go Hazriel Atelier!!!! ♥♥♥
BTW, the tv stand would be great for decorating cakes and such. 😉 And that texturing when you unwrap a 3d model is called the UV mapping.
I was given a key to this game to play and review on stream and now I'm even more excited to try it! I tested it a little tonight and so far I love it! It's the perfect combo of fun action and goofy extras. The helmets came out amazing!
The projector idea is brilliant!!!

That was such a fun project. They both looked so amazing after the painting.
Watched the came trailer, I would watch that as a cartoon and the game looks just as enjoyable.
Oh my gosh….love it all!!! Great job on the helmets! Definitely interested in the game! 🤗
(iii.. Just dont know how people have so much energy/mental capacity to do such IT&creative job then play board games IN LUNCH *BREAK* 😭😭😭 gimme a bit :') )

My God son is a game creator. I'm going to share this with his mom.

The three-headed monkey from the best game ever! 🔥

Pretty sure you can just get a pattern from an existing 3d model in Blender😅 Though it was fun to watch you invent the way to transfer it irl 😁👍 UPD. Just watched to the Day 2! Yay! You did it😂
Simplement, bravo à vous deux!

Can we get a game where the main character is Nolwenn? Please?
Amazing video!! You and Laurent did a crazy job on those helmets, really insane.
Beautiful video ♥
I want to play this game....
