Reading is not a time pass or a hobby, it is an experience that lasts with you for a very long time.
It was delightful to see both of you light up while talking about the books, just like one would do while sharing their stories of adventures.
That reflects how much this meant to you, it's beautiful.
"Sumire and you can be a little less lonely"... Touching.
Thanks again and congratulations on your 2nd successful review!!
    Good luck!!!

Great review guys! I love the set up too, it's professional yet intimate. Feels like I'm geeking over books with a couple of friends.

It's simply breath taking to see a reader describe the book in a way you guys do... Got me hooked, even though the book doesn't fall in the genre I follow much. Keep these coming :)

Nobody disappears in Norwegian Wood. But otherwise pretty good summary.

Refreshing to see you guys talk about books in the times when everyone is reviewing movies, songs and gadgets...inspired me to pick up all my unfinished books which I had to abandon due to paucity of time! Murakami is on my ‘to buy’ list thanks to you!
@Sarthak eloquent as always...a delight to hear your analysis! Looking forward to more recommendations

Thanks a million times, Shalini ma'am! I owe my interest in reading to you. My articulation, which you have very kindly called eloquent, is nothing but a result of all the lessons you gave me in school! Honestly, I am so happy that you watched this podcast. Truly made my day! Cant wait to have more discussions on books with you, ma'am!

I have just finished reading sputnik sweetheart. As you mentioned it's kind of a philosophical one. I felt that too. I have read Norwegian wood too. But the ending of this one is quite difficult to Crack. I Would love to hear from you regarding the ending. Btw i loved your video and your accent..Do more recommendations like this

Kafka on the shore is not about a dog. Please have some overview before making videos. Apart from that I loved the way you are explaining and your set-up, the way you guys discussing it's unique.

    Awesome video
    I loved the book too.
    Also
I would recommend more people to read The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka.
I personally read that before getting into Murakami books .
    I think
Kafka is a good intro. For someone who is trying to understand existentialism and stuff
Also it has magical realism .

I have read Norwegian wood. I would like to read more books like that, more about realism and feel of things rather then plot and magical stuff. So can you guys recommend any book ??

    • @NishantMittalVideos
      @NishantMittalVideos  4 роки тому

I believe you could read something by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. He's a pioneer in Magical Realism. :)

    • @sarthakbhardwaj3945

My recommendation would be books by Kiran Nagarkar, mate. His books leave a spell so strong, that it takes weeks, if not months, to recover from it!
