- Grain sorghum is a rising crop for North Carolina and the Mid-Atlantic region. As a result of collaboration between Murphy Brown, LLC, the Sorghum Checkoff, and the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, the Mid-Atlantic Feed Grain Initiative has challenged producers to increase local grain production in order to meet regional demand.
