I’ve been a subscriber for a few months now. Been self taught and editing on Premiere Pro for over a decade now but learn new stuff from you weekly. Also, your voice is super ASMR, so sometimes I just put on old some of your old videos to fall asleep to.
Wow, if I only knew that before, I would probably be 1 year younger. I always did a cut before the last animation starts to make it less painy, but then if I had to change the text I have to copy/paste the title in the second graphic. That handle trick is painless! Thanks Gal

I wish so badly this could work for all media, such as video or images in non-graphics clips, especially for a keyframed transition element such as a slight push on a cut or something. But the responsive design stuff is fantastic if you set it up and this is a great explanation on how and why to do so!

animation - i would love to learn how a 'tripod 4k shot image' can be dynamic zoomed in. I know how to do that in a linear one (change scale) but can i 'fly in' from left to right or from a corner diagonal up to a point, in an easy way? paths? I cant find it how to do that easily?

Great stuff as usual! Hey, question for you. When I import mgrts from Envato…I don’t see a preview for all of them in Premiere Pro. Some previews show up, but a majority don’t. Why is that and how can I make it so I can see a preview? thanks
Yes, the previews depend on the author of the mogrt and how they designed it, but to make it more consistent you can use a panel called AEviewer to preview your mogrts, here is a video: ua-cam.com/video/1Rz-nDbyjBY/v-deo.html

How do you deal with the abysmal performance of MOGRTs in general? Any tips on how to setup your project to work well with MOGRTs? Or how to design MOGRTs that perform seamlessly?
A lot of the older mogrts are terrible, but the newer ones have multi frame rendering and faster. For effect heavy mogrts, I just open then in Ae and edit them there.
Why can't I see those blue handles of my Effect Controls tab? How can I enable them?

Hello Gal, in your kit you will have effects similar to Film Impact?
They are different, Film Impact is it's own tool that I use in every video, my toolkit has seamless transitions and will have text animation presets in the next version -- but I wouldn't be able to replace the amazing-ness of Film Impact's Smart Tools like Motion Tween.

You can actually do something similar and use them as adjustment layers. Say if you us the same kind of zoom all the time. Saves time on moving the keyframes all the time you just resize the graphic and right click, tick adjustment layer. Saved me so much time.
This only works for mographics? another F for adobe.

My Effects Control panel does not show the blue handles. Any idea why not?
OK, I'm gonna answer my own question. The little, blue handles WILL NOT show or work on a video clip. It has to be a graphics clip. In the Effects Control panel, add a shape or text and the Graphics heading will appear. This is where the handles live.

did you know if you rename the .mogrt to .zip then unzip (do same on the ae file inside) you can fullly edit the after effects file
I believe Gal actually had a whole video on that stuff back in the day.
Actually now you don't have to .zip them, you can go to Ae > Open Project > .mogrt and it can open the mogrt like that.

I follow your tips and lessons regularly... It may just be me but Im not a big fan of the large and highlighted captions, it is distracting and makes the video too busy. Now with that said I really like the effect and I would use it sparingly for a lot of projects because it's a cool effect. . . ~N

Great tip - though I still resent Adobe for making us say "mogrt" - it always sounds like "yogurt" to me
lol that's SO many extra steps when Davinci just does it automatically.
Can you list out the extra steps? The only step I see is moving the handles into place, thats only 1 step.
