Thanks! Now my mouse pad looks and feels brand new :D
It would be nice if they provide an option to remove the RGB strip so that cleaning is easy, otherwise its a pain
Cool video. Thanks for the info.. :)
wonder why he made cleaning a mousepad 4k
Thanks for the video! I just had one thought, half a cup of laundry soap seems like a lot? I don't have baby soap on hand anymore to see how much soap that is, but I think I used that much to clean like a medium load of baby laundry.
I just used half of the cup because i feel like it doesn't create as much soapyness, but if your product does, you can adjust it as long as it balances the warm water and soap.
Mate mine got cut on the bottom half, there is any risk on changing this cloth?
I'm done cleaning mine with soap and there is still dirt in some areas, can I spray Lysol onto it?
Yes you can, but the only thing it will do is remove bacteria and odor. The dirt has be done manually, you can be creative as you can, just make sure you dont use harsh substances.
Does the RGB still work properly?
Absolutely! It still works just fine. Just make sure you don't spill too much water on the pad.
@@thepr3achertv905 thank you!
I have had this mouse pad since 2017 and only now I thought about cleaning it because it was dirty ahahah
When is the conclusion to phase 3!?
HAHAHA! I forgot to mention that Phase 3 is actually just removing the soap with the sponge
(make sure the sponge is not soapy anymore) and water only. Do same process until there's not more soap remains.
Then PHASE 4. AIRDRY.
remember to not use the rough side of the sponge that you use! :) you dont want to damage your mouse pad!~
is it just me or is his voice so smooth lol
Na lol
Don’t use soap or any cleaning materials each mouse pads surface is different so yes soap and etc might work well on other mouse mats but on razors site it says not to use soap or any cleaning material. Use lukewarm water
That's just a trick to get away from any responsibility. You can use soap and you just have to be careful.
🐭 This Steelseries' official guidance on cleaning their RGB mousepads:

Did the same trick as you did, but since I have a mercury white Razer Goliathus, I could still see the dirt staid on the mousepad. Any suggestions to make it look cleaner? I repeated what you did several times, but nothing happened.
I think its because its white, the stain is your enemy and plus the material is different than cloth it will be harder to remove the dirt. You might try to use dishwashing soap instead of detergent. Hope this works. Sorry for late response!
@@thepr3achertv905 I used a mixture of both and somehow it worked. The only problem is that since I have the extended version, the colors are uneven.
@@kazunarifujiwara9599 try doing the same thing the the whole pad
I have Goliathus too, And mine is very dirty, I live in a country where there is a lot of dirt...
The only problem is, Razer suggests that do not use any kind of Soap or detergent... just warm water?
Is that correct, or did you actually use some detergent to clean it?
@@kazunarifujiwara9599 same but i have the quartz grey one, and uhh i cleaned it but its uneven, haven't tried with detergent yet but i always manage to spill tea drops all over it
*It got cut in the end!*
maybe not go in circles? you should go with the grain in order to keep the cloth from fuzzing up :)
Yes, that could also work, actually I was doing that before the circular motions, but the skin residues are just thick enough that circular motions is better
that thick filipino accent though lol
hahahahaha
One small question how the hell did you get it that dirty lol😂
If you use it in a daily bases, some times eating snacks e.t.c it can get dirty
wris/palm dead skin peeling all over the mat. it's natural.
Hahah what they said, i dont usually eat on my set up but, when you are gaming hard, your palm sweat and those human oil get absorb by the cloth resulting that "dirt" get stuck in it. 🤣
Are you filipino?
yes
I am!
ThePr3acher TV eyyyy same here. I have been using my firefly for 3 years now lol and its so dirty.
I've cleaned my own firefly cloth edition with an old teethbrush an soap, and it vegan toi unstick. So dont do that with teethbrush 😂🤣
Hahaha yeah dont do that lol 🤣🤣
dark omen same lmao
I did it and.. THE FUCKING CLOTH CAME THE FUCK OFF
When he said Lysol I clicked away lol
then how did you comment
@@ethananderson8532 by commenting stupid
ShinyBrain but how did you comment if you clicked away stupid
