I am a catholic but my husband is protestant i go to their church but the sunday service they preach is a like bible study. No sacred worship. The bread is biscuit and they squeeze in their hands before they distribute. Pastor is the main star. And one thing is scary in the protestant doctrine once save always save. Thats why my husband keep on cheating. I pray to God mercy and grace to enlighten the heart of my husband. I have a son to take care. As catholic, suffering is uniting with my Jesus in calvary. As Jesus say take your cross daily and follow me. God bless you brother.

Thanks for writing and sharing your story. I hope to cover some of the points you've brought up in future videos. Preaching in a protestant church is like an exposition on scripture. Every minister is different in their style and approach. Now as a catholic, I really enjoy the balance that exists in the liturgy of the Word.
The 'once saved always saved' doctrine is also called 'eternal security' by some protestant denominations. I never preached eternal security, because I didn't believe in it. Looking at scripture, we find Colossians 1:21-23 which says: And you who once were alienated and hostile in mind because of evil deeds 22 he has now reconciled in his fleshly body through his death, to present you holy, without blemish, and irreproachable before him, 23 provided that you persevere in the faith, firmly grounded, stable, and not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, am a minister.
Please notice verse 23, where it says 'provided that you persevere in the faith'.
Then we have the words of our Lord in Matthew 7:13-14: “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. 14 How narrow the gate and constricted the road that leads to life. And those who find it are few.
Also in Luke's Gospel 13:23-24: Someone asked him, “Lord, will only a few people be saved?” He answered them, 24 “Strive to enter through the narrow door, for many, I tell you, will attempt to enter but will not be strong enough.
Finally in John 15:5-6 we find our Lord saying "I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing. 6 Anyone who does not remain in me will be thrown out like a branch and wither; people will gather them and throw them into a fire and they will be burned."
I'll let those scriptures stand on their own.
Keep praying for your husband and relationship. Hand it over to God. I will pray for you and your family. God bless you.

The Conversion to Rome the Bible clearly teaches that a person can never lose their salvation. God does not give the gift of eternal life then change His mind. Salvation can NEVER be earned. The Bible clearly states that.
The problem is that some people think praying a prayer, going to church (or whatever else they come up with) can get them to heaven but God's Word (Bible) clearly states that NO ONE is worthy of salvation-- no matter how "good" they are or what they do in life.
God clearly states in His Word who gets to heaven and who does not.
Did you read all the Bible says about sin, salvation, heaven and hell and who goes where?

Your sins are forgiven in confession and you won't go to hell once you maintain a state of Grace and do not separate from God.
The temporal consequences of sin must be repaid also. This can be done in purgatory or you can get relief from these by various means. My favorite is through the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy by saint Faustina.

I was born again in the Catholic Church after a confession I made when I was 18 years old. Around 20 years old I started venturing to other denominations was away from the Catholic Church for at least 25 years. And the preacher talked about finding someone you can confide in and make a confession. At that time I was going through depression and when I heard the preacher suggest that a light came into my head I need to see a priest for absolution. That's when I came back to the Catholic church and never left again. Confession and adoration in front of the Blessed Sacrament are truly what a sick Soul needs!

Being born again is an act of God not man or our own wishes, or joining a church or something like that. This is the Holy Spirit of God we are talking about, this is what the Father promised after Jesus paid for our sins to give to those who would turn away from their evil works and seek His face. This is not religion or rituals, this is God, Holy Spirit coming to your spirit and uniting to it so that you become a new creation. Only through this union we obtain the power of God to be transformed and to conquer our own sinful selves, anything else is vain and cannot transform us.

    • @Anon.5216

The Catholic Church is NOT a denomination. It is THE ONE and ONLY CHURCH founded by Jesus bcse it has a VALIDLY ORDAINED PRIESTHOOD. Protestants do not have a priesthood. It was cut off at the so-called reformation when the Church of England was founded which was out and out protestantism. Nothing like the anglicanism of today which only came into being in the last century after the Oxford Movement. Read HISTORY OF ENGLAND, THE TUDORS. by PETER ACKROYD. Also THE GREAT UNFROCKED, 1000 years of Church scandaL. by Matthew Parris. The Archbishop of Canterbury may be a christian but he is NOT a validly ordained priest. Anglicans copied their (fake) mass from the catholics and their robes, altars, also. Canterbury Cathedral, The Abbey, York Minister, Lichfield Cathedral etc etc were ALL built by catholics who were murdered by protestants, and belong to us!

I don't think God led you to Catholicism which contradicts scripture, If you believe like Catholicism teaches you to believe, you are like the Galatians, adding to grace and Paul called them fools. Becoming part of God requires repentance and obedience not joining another church, maybe what you need is to read the scriptures to understand what God is doing. We have to be steady in doing what is right and expect the fruit of righteousness to appear which is Love. Catholicism will confuse you even more, they have sacraments, rituals etc, they claim necessary for salvation when you only need faith and obedience.

Thanks for share your testimony, and be sure, we are praying for our separated brothers, greetings from the beautiful Mexico City!! ✋😀

I’m not catholic and I know my sins are also forgiven. Because Jesus Christ said so. What you have explained in your testimony is that you have finally and fully repented in your heart. There is no where that says you cannot be forgiven or redeemed if and only if you are catholic. I’ve listened to many of these conversion stories and the common denominator I am seeing is the desire to become more self-disciplined which is most definitely a fruit that comes from the Holy Spirit, not from converting to Catholicism. That confession you speak of can also be viewed to some as a step 4 in a recovery program and is very healing and can grow your intimacy with God. Still, not because of your religion but because of your repentant heart that turned to God’s desire for you. Through Jesus Christ ALONE we are lead to the Father in Heaven when our hearts truly turn to Christ for salvation. Not because of a denomination.

The Eucharist is the most awesome event our prepared soul can behold. When we approach the priest for our daily bread and wine, we actually walk to the cross. The last supper and the crucifixion in which we participate, the moment 2,000 years ago frozen in time by God, made present. A perpetual event. Not crucifying Jesus over and over. A one time event that spans the past, present and the future. Heaven, earth, Purgatory all celebrating the most Holy Eucharist. Imagine billions and billions of Catholics going to communion at the same time. It is said that if our faith were strong enough, we would witness a great choir of angels singing above our heads during Mass. The soul in a state of Grace approaching the altar is elevated into Heaven were the event takes place. The book of Revelations describes the Heavenly Mass. The exact same Mass that takes place on earth. God is truly amazing.
*The Book of Revelation and the Holy Mass*
The Book of Revelation shows us glimpses of the heavenly liturgy - Jesus Christ’s once and for all sacrifice eternally present in heaven. This is why the Church has always incorporated the elements that John saw in the heavenly liturgy into her earthly liturgy, for they are one and the same liturgical action of Jesus Christ our High Priest.
Rev. 1:6, 20:6 - heaven’s identification of the priesthood of the faithful is the same as the Church’s identification on earth.
Rev. 1:10 - John witnesses the heavenly liturgy on Sunday, the Lord’s day, which is a Catholic holy day of obligation for attending Mass on earth.
Rev. 1:12, 2:5 - there are lampstands or Menorahs in heaven. These have always been used in the Holy Mass of the Church on earth.
Rev. 1:13 - Jesus is clothed as High Priest. Our priests also clothe themselves as “alter Christuses” (other Christs) in offering His sacrifice in the Holy Mass on earth.
Rev. 1:13, 4:4, 6:11, 7:9, 15:6, 19:13-14 - priests wear special vestments in heaven. Our priests also wear special vestments in celebrating the Holy Mass on earth.
Rev. 2:5,16,21; 3:3; 16:11 - there is a penitential rite in heaven which is also part of the liturgy of the Holy Mass on earth.
Rev. 2:17 - there is manna in heaven given to the faithful. This is the same as the Eucharistic manna given to the faithful at the Holy Mass on earth.
Rev. 4:4, 5:14; 11:16, 14:3, 19:4 - there are priests (“presbyteroi”) in heaven. Priests offer sacrifice. Our earthly priests participate with the heavenly priests in offering Jesus’ eternal sacrifice in the Holy Mass on earth.
Rev. 4:8 - heaven’s liturgical chant “Holy, Holy, Holy” is the same that is used in the liturgy of the Holy Mass on earth.
Rev. 4:8-11, 5:9-14, 7:10-12, 18:1-8 - the various antiphonal chants in the heavenly liturgy are similar to those used at the Holy Mass on earth.
Rev. 5:1 - there is a book or scroll of God’s word in heaven. This is reflected in the Liturgy of the Word at the Holy Mass on earth.
Rev. 5:6 and throughout - heaven’s description of Jesus as the “Lamb” is the same as the description of Jesus as the Lamb of God in the Eucharistic liturgy of the Holy Mass on earth.
Rev. 5:8, 6:9-11, 8:3-4 - heaven’s emphasis on the intercession of the saints is the same as the Holy Mass on earth.
Rev. 5:8, 8:3-4 - there is incense in heaven which has always been part of the liturgy of the Holy Mass on earth.
Rev. 5:14; 7:12; 19:4 - heaven’s concluding liturgical prayer “Amen” is the same as is used at the Holy Mass on earth.
Rev. 6:9 - the martyrs who are seen under the heavenly altar is similar to the Church’s tradition of keeping relics of saints under the earthly altars.
Rev. 7:3, 14:1, 22:4 - there is the sign of the cross (“tau”) in heaven. This sign is used during the Holy Mass on earth.
Rev. 7:9; 14:6 - the catholicity or universality of heaven as God’s family is the essence of the Catholic faith on earth.
Rev. 8:1 - the silent contemplation in heaven is similar to our silent contemplation at the Holy Mass on earth.
Rev. 8:3, 11:1, 14:18, 16:7 - there is an altar in heaven. But no altar is needed unless a sacrifice is being offered in heaven. This is the same sacrifice that is offered on the altars used in the Holy Masses on earth.
Rev. 11:12 - the phrase “come up here” is similar to the priest’s charge to “lift up your hearts” at the Holy Mass on earth.
Rev. 12:1-6, 13-17 - heaven’s emphasis on the Blessed Virgin Mary is the same as the Holy Mass on earth.
Rev. 12:7 - heaven’s emphasis on the Archangel Michael’s intercession is the same as the concluding prayers at the Holy Mass on earth.
Rev. 14:4 - there are consecrated celibates in heaven, as there are with our Catholic priests and religious on earth.
Rev. 15:7, 16:1-4,8,10,12,17; 21:9 - there are chalices (or bowls) in the heavenly liturgy. This is like the chalices used to offer Christ’s sacrifice in the Holy Mass on earth.
Rev. 15:3-4 - there is the recitation of the “Gloria” in heaven. This is also recited at the Holy Mass on earth.
Rev. 15:5 - there is a tent or tabernacle in heaven. Tabernacles are used to store the Eucharist at the Holy Mass on earth.
Rev. 17, 19:9 - the consummation of the Lamb at heaven’s marriage supper is the same as the Lamb’s supper in the Holy Mass on earth.
Rev. 19:1,3,4,6 - there is the recitation of the “Alleluia” in heaven. This is also recited at the Holy Mass on earth.

I enjoyed your testimony. I was just received into the church on Easter. Confession was amazing! Thank God for this wonderful sacrament. But communion is my favorite! To receive the body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus Christ..knowing that He lives within me gives me a grace I cannot explain. He strengthens me, loves me, and I know Him. The beauty of Catholicism is everywhere. The puzzle pieces all fit together. It all makes sense. I was like you and was living with pain and guilt from all my sins. Though I asked Jesus directly to forgive me, the weight never truly lifted until I went to my first confession. There’s something to saying your sins out loud to another person. Actually hearing, “you are absolved”, is a glorious feeling! Glory to God!

Good conversion story. You are sincere and credible. Having examined the Catholic Church, I have no desire to seek any further. You are a believer, that is all that matters. One can find many ex-Catholics that have good conversion stories; what matters is that they are believers. It's too bad that the majority of priests are homosexuals, and don't share your experience. "Church militant", a Catholic website confirms the %. The Catholic Church, containing many fine people like yourself, as an institution is decadent from the top down.

There are never exCatholics ..there are non practicing Catholics. The people that chose this either don't know their faith or something happened to them and they don't want to follow the rules anymore (ie divorce and wanting to remarry as a small example). Being Catholic is hard but that fact that our beliefs haven't changed since the time of Jesus is comforting.

I was always confused about the father and the son who went astray. I used to think it was unfair that the one who did wrong was honored by the father while the good brother didn't receive extra rewards. Only until later that I understood that I was the brother who was always with the father. Why should I get a great reception when I have always been in good grace, loved and protected everyday of my life? THAT would b ridiculous. I was born catholic, raised traditional catholic and will always be catholic. I dont like confession. But the examination of consience really hits home...this is where you open your heart, where you genuinely say sorry to everthing sinful you have committed that has wronged you or others. It is like a bitter drink that in the end has been the medicine to the poison you have drank without worry. Communion is the highest honor, but one that we must take. Jesus is there and he is waiting everyday every Sunday at a banquet laid for you but its you who must attend his invitation.
Being in the presence of adoration is the most peaceful time of an entire week. In adoration every thing goes. You have a one to one talk with God and the Holy spirit. The Trinity in one is there. There has been many times in which I have just sat there in silence not doing or thinking anything amd just being present. But my heart was being cleaned and beating fast yet slow. I dont know how to explain the Holy spirit. It is both hot and warm. The peace you feel is like a moment of relaxation and a joy that is immense that seems like it radiates within and around. God talks....but we must listen.

My question: Were you not trusting in Christ for salvation before turning to the Catholic Church? Why not, when the gospel of Christ is for ALL?
Why were you needing to “take action”, as opposed to simply trusting and resting in Christ and what He accomplished for you on the cross?
Trusting in Christ and resting in His finished work for eternal salvation is all that God asks of anyone, regardless of what they identify as; Protestant, Charismatic, Catholic, etc, etc,…..
Eternal salvation is received on an individual bases. It has nothing to do with our identifying as……Catholic. The gospel of Christ is revealed to us IN THE BIBLE. It’s the indwelling Holy Spirit that does the work inside a born again Christian, not the Catholic church.

I’m from Ireland which in the last thirty years has gone through a collapse of faith, so it’s little wonder that the Evangelicals are moving in. One of my best friends is an Evangelical pastor. He hates the prosperity gospel and mega church pastors/tv evangelicals. I’m the Catholic and I don’t have as much problem with them (tv evangelicals) but I suppose I just see the best side of them. Yes, the “saved” business just doesn’t cut the mustard with me. And John 6. Talk about doing the side step. But he is one of my best friends and we agree to disagree. Better than all the blood letting from centuries ago.

We rejoice that many more good people will take cue from you and find the graceful path to salvation. In one aspect you may also thank your own Guardian Angel for guiding you to our Lord Jesus Christ.
Beloved of God - with your finding the way truth and life as taught by Our Lord Jesus Christ you bring in inspiration for us to renew our promise to love our neighbour as ourselves.
You have brought celebration in heaven and the greatest factor to be happy about is that you got on to the right path at a time we are expecting the judgement day and the second coming of Christ.
