@Lerian V - "While you were seeking the truth, I was naively sitting on the truth and taking it for granted. " WELL SAID! AMEN!!! This is something that was profoundly brought home to me by hearing Muslim-conversion-to-Christianity testimonies. (UA-cam videos by Nabeel Qureshi are a great listen). Granted, generally they have not been Catholic conversions, but they still slapped me in the face with how blessed I have been to have had our Blessed Lord in my life since birth, along with the freedom to worship Him, & yet had been cavalier enough to take that for granted. I am now exceedingly grateful for that which I previously took for granted, & seeking every day to know our Blessed Lord & my Catholic Faith better. [mcsmama 5.1.2022]
Me, too. I HAD to. It wasn't about me. I've never heard of anyone else who's had a similar experience. I love what your mom said; it's wise advice. Longer.😊
“There was this truth that Christ gave and that it was safely kept throughout this time”. This sentence at 10:17 just stopped me cold. That sentence is pure gold. Thank you!
This conversion story is very amazing and awesome! I'd love to hear the rest of the details. Sounds like it wasn't because someone was trying to convince you or prod you into the Church, but that God's hand was on you guiding you. Wow! Beautiful! - I'm a revert to the Church, coming out of Calvary Chapel.
I like your description of the senses, and how we really do have these senses given to us by God, and we can see, hear, touch, smell, and feel these things in the Catholic church. As Catholics we believe that the Eucharist is the literal body and blood of our savior. It's not just symbolic.
Catholics believe the body and spirit are completely intertwined during life in this place. Both are good, but have capacity for evil. So many of our stylistic and even theological differences with Protestants stem from that intertwining, beginning with relics of saints, and of course ending with the Source and Summit - the Eucharist.
I’m glad to see everyone else wants the long version too. I see the benefit for a shorter version for evangelism but it definitely just left me wanting more! I’d definitely pop some popcorn and settle in to watch a longer one!!!
New sub by the way. I’m currently binge watching your videos like it’s my job! I’m a convert too and have been looking into Seton for my going-into-sixth-grade daughter. She’s in public school now but I’m not sure I want her in public for middle and high school. Even at the elementary level, there’s so much influence I can’t monitor. She’s an only child which is my only hindrance. I’m worried she won’t socialize as well.
I really love the concept about the 5 senses. The idea that the senses don't really exist seems so foreign to me. Yes I would love to hear a longer version.
Hi I saw you in the homeschooling catholic moms Facebook page and found out you had a yt channel! I converted easter vigil in my 20s and love sharing and raising my kids in the faith 😊
Valerie Wood hi there! So glad you stopped by!! I’m so very happy for you!!! Isn’t the Church just filled with so much beauty and joy!!! Please feel free to reach out via my Facebook page My Little Domestic Church!!! Blessings!
Such an awesome conversion story. Welcome home! One of the things I love about being Catholic in addition to how close we are to Jesus through the Eucharist, is how diverse the Church is. You can go to almost any part of the world and find a Catholic community. Even in this country, they say Sunday morning is the most segregated hour, but not in the Catholic Church. One of the only churches where you will find every race worshiping together. I also like how the Catholic Church embraces science as being complementary to our Christian faith, as you mentioned. Thank you for sharing and God bless!
wow, I guess we just take the five senses part for granted, but that is so true...we see the visual depictions, touch holy water and make sign of the cross, smell the candles burning and sometimes the incense, hear, sing and say the prayers, songs, bells ringing, taste the Eucharest. Your impressions are enlightening.
God loves you very much sister!!! In God's grace, you will persevere. We must remember sister that the road to heaven is narrow and difficult but the road to perdition is wide and easy. God bless you and your family!!!
Welcome home!!! Please pray for me I'm going in to hard spiritual time right now, I'm going to reconciliation this Saturday, but I need all help I can have, I also will pray for you and your family.
Awesome stuff! I love watching conversion stories....they reinforce my faith and bring me to tears! So, if you make a longer version I will definitely watch it. I think it would be good for others to see as well. You are actually proselytizing like a good Christian (Catholic) does.
Wow! What a joyful explanation of your conversion! I don’t understand, though, why you had to keep it short. I would have loved a longer version in which you explain your (seemingly) quick and easy acceptance of some elements that are stumbling blocks for many people. Did you love Our Blessed Mother Mary right away? How about praying to saints? Purgatory? You are fortunate to have had a cool mom and nice Hispanic girlfriends in school who showed a good example of Catholic family life. I can’t wait to see that longer video. God bless you, and I’m praying that more young people start thinking like you!
Marta Acosta I was told to keep your Conversion story short for the sake of those listening. So I redid it and made this one. I have been thinking for a while on how to go about doing a longer version since many people have said they would like to hear it! I love the specific questions you asked! It helps to know what people would like hear! ❤️
That was absolutely lovely... what a blessing you are! So many amazing insights you have gained & were able to articulate regarding the beauty & fullness of The Catholic Faith... JUST WOW! I loved so much of what you said, but one thing that really hit me was @10:28 about how humans are so flawed & screwed up, but that The Catholic Faith is so much greater than just us flawed humans who comprise the faithful, & who make a mess of the gift of our Faith everyday! Your Mother's having said to you, "don't let people ruin a religion for you, because they will... we're just people", was incredibly insightful. It is a constant struggle to get Catholic-doubters & non-Catholics to realize that people are flawed & we are sinners, but that OUR sinfulness is NOT The Catholic Church's fault, nor is it The Catholic Church's identity. And while we Catholic humans make up the body of our Church, ours sins are not The Church... they are OUR mess! The Church is not the problem, the sinner is the problem, the SINS are the problem... yet we are loved in spite of them, & every day that we wake up we are blessed with another chance to get it right! What a beautiful gift is our Catholic Faith & the way it facilitates the fullness of our relationship with our Blessed Lord. Thank God! God bless! Your channel just found my algorithm and I love it. 😊 I am 48 and just got confirmed in the Catholic Church a month ago. I was raised southern Baptist and slowly faded away from my faith and was living that hippie new age sort of worldview for a long time till I finally was pretty much agnostic. God sought me and brought me back thankfully in 2020 which was such an amazing experience I’ve been relentlessly seeking Him and eventually led me to Catholicism! So grateful to be part of this fullness of truth. I look forward to watching your other videos. God bless you sister 😇💖

THis is one of the most powerful trestimonies I have heard about coming home to the Catholic church. As a Catholic ,Black Gay man I had never heard anyone articulate the universality of the Catholic faith, our caring for people as we care for Christ, the sensory nature of our liturgical life, tradition, our standing up for life, all of this is such a powerful message for young folks today. Thank you sister and welcome home!
Welcome home, sister! Thank you for sharing! I recommend listening to catholic radio from EWTN. It's helped me grow in knowledge of our beautiful faith. God bless you!
I'm glad that you converted. ❤️ Even though I've been a cradle Catholic, there has been a lot that I thought I understood, but I really didn't. My Faith didn't start deepening until I met Servants of the Holy Family in Colorado Springs. It's a Monastery of priests and brothers, and they live right next door to a Carmel Convent. I don't know what it is with them, but everything they talk about is deep. And sometimes leaves my jaw dropped to the floor. If you ever want to check them out , you can type in www. Servants of the Holy Family. com . Their one talk on seeing the Rosary with Our Lady's eyes is really powerful!! You are a very good Catholic mom, and I haven't seen the homeschooling videos, yet, but I believe that you are a good Catholic teacher as well. ❤️
Blessings to you!! I loved your comment! Thank you so much for sharing about the Servants if God! I will definitely look at their website!! Thank you!! So glad we are on this faith walk together as sisters in Christ!
@Elizabeth Link - I went to Servants of the Holy Family in Colorado Springs & tried to find their one talk on seeing the Rosary with Our Lady's eyes, but was unable to find it. Any chance you could provide some specific steps within the website to find it? Thanks & God bless! [mcsmama 5.2.2022]
I just found your channel and I think you're great! Welcome to the church! I am a Catholic homeschooling mom, as well. We gotta stick together :) many blessings!
I grew up in Central Florida. My mother was an "ex" Catholic who became Protestant before I was born. I was mostly raised non-denominational, and then Episcopalian/Anglican after my parents divorced in the 90s. I married a lapsed (Latin American) Catholic but didn't become Catholic until after 15 years of marriage (I married quite young). My "ex" Catholic mother was more supportive of my conversion than my Protestant father. After we had our fourth child in 2020, we started attending a Traditional Latin Mass Chapel and haven't looked back. Our children love being Catholic!
Catholicism is a fiesta of the cool cultures: Irish whiskey, Mexican piñata, Italian pizza, French wines, Brazilian samba, Spanish flamenco, Portuguese fado and don't forget the Polish, Croats, Filipinos, Middle Eastern Christians and the growing Catholic USA.
Thank you for sharing your walk and being an inspiration to others who might still be searching for God. I pray that you make videos and that you be blessed in all areas of your life.
Very inspiring. Maybe you’ve already uploaded a longer testimony, but if not, I think it would help a lot of people. And I appreciate your analysis of differences between Catholic belief vs. ChristianScience/NewAge.
You are so right to distill your story down to 15 minutes, I have tried watching some other people's videos and it is agonising waiting for them to get to the point! (quite apart of wasting an hour of your life). Anyway, congratulations on your reception into the church - you have made a good decision.
I'm a convert to Catholicism. I was born and raised in a non-churchgoing family and HATED not going to church so much I said that, when I was an adult, I was going to start going to church. Although I was 19 upon going to Mass at a Catholic church, it would be 2 years later when I enrolled in RCIA. The next year, on Holy Saturday, I was baptized, confirmed, and received Holy Communion.
The truth of the Catholic Church is a multifaceted realitry. There are still so many awesome things you'll know about our Catholic faith as you go on and on. Welcome. And God bless us all.
Such a lovely story! Even though I'm Protestant, I know you are my sister in Christ! I love how the Catholic Church has preserved so much sacred tradition and wisdom down through the centuries - so much excellent documentation and rich history, linking us to our earliest sources of the Founding Fathers. Your spirit's response to Jesus brings to mind His words to His disciples: : "Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? 23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me." Would love to hear the long version. Bless you, my sister!

I have made them in a way that a busy mom can just listen while she gets her work done - as i often do with other videos! More and more women are reaching out to me, women who are touched to receive these truths, which opposes this present climate that promotes self-love over real love. My channel started out just being a fun way to share my life, without any clear direction. Now I think the Lord has pared it down to what really matters: a clear message about Biblical marriage and love and order in the home. My husband has been encouraging me along the way, affirming that it is a much-needed message in this indulgent time we live in. Much love to you and yours, Emily

Beautiful....Thank you...Welcome home...i Love your testimony and how real and truthful you are...We can see and feel your sincerity....i understand you as i went away from Catholic Religion studying New Age and just loving and accepting everything and everyone.....but.....i am back home too....realizing how wrong i was to ever leave....truly....i got so lost and i almost killed myself as the effect of that as my life got deeply broken....But Jesus saved me...as His Love is True and Deep and Unconditional......i am So Deeply Grateful....i Always Loved Him but now i feel His Love and my Love got Deeper.....Catholic Religion is a Beautiful and a True Religion...and so deeply misunderstood by so many...and attacked by so many who truly have no idea about the Real essence of this Religion...This is the only Religion which truly goes back to Jesus Christ, keeps the whole Bible (while the Bible based on the Reformation took 7 books out...sadly....), keeps the Sacraments and teaches goodness. Of course it made and continues to make mistakes....just as you said...as all people do.....But people who are truly Catholic are loving, kind and forgiving...Because we truly truly Love and Respect our Beloved Beautiful Lord Jesus Christ...We also Love and Respect His Beautiful Mother who helps us So Much and rised our Beloved Jesus and suffered with Him as Every Loving Mother would....No, we don't think she is equal to God but She is His Mother and a Very Pure Special Soul who Loves us all....and Whome Satan hates....Because She helps So Many Souls..... And yes...we have statues....but no we don't bow down to them...we bow down to God....but as people we are very very imperfect creatures and we need a reminders...and statues are a Beautiful reminder....just as paintings are...And yes....Jesus wants it as He clearly instructed St Faustyna to find a painter and paint the image of the Divine Mercy which did, does and will save many Souls and which we need to share with as many as we possibly can..... Jesus is Such a Good God...Gentle and Merciful....but He also Will come to Judge us and those who will not accept His Mercy and pray for forgiveness will have to go through His Judgment..... This Religion teaches this among other things.... Confession.....one of the Holy Sacraments.....so deeply misunderstood......people attack Church that priests are the ones forgiving us.....No.....as it is written and was instructed by Christ it is Him Who forgives....if we truly Repent....not the priest....but again it's so beautiful to have a person ordained who we can talk to and whose ordination goes back to the Apostles....yes....it does....People truly don't know enough about Catholic Religion and they criticize it....sadly..... St Padre Pio was always upset with those who criticized the Church.... Yes....Satan attack Church...Yes.....as we can see it everywhere....As he knows that if he takes one priest or one bishop he takes thousands of Souls with him....so....but Mary Protects those who ask Her for protection....and our Angels do the same.....Because the Highest Highest Priest in Catholic Church is Jesus Christ and He is The Only one we need to focus on....Our Saviour Who defeated evil....Who died for us in a terrible way to help us....to save us....but He also established rules that we must follow....and if we fail to truly truly truly repent....and continue to Love and to follow Him and Only Him.....with Morher Mary's help....then we have a chance....... Let's follow our Beautiful God.... Who Loves us all So So Much.....💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

Me, too.
Great name for your page...
I love how the man, Jesus Intrigued and appealed to you. Beautiful!
Welcome home sis, God bless you too
Welcome to Catholic Church... I was a former Protestant...
Welcome home!!! God bless you!!!
I really love the concept about the 5 senses. The idea that the senses don't really exist seems so foreign to me. Yes I would love to hear a longer version.
Glad to have you with us in the chuch! God bless sister
Thanks be to God for conversion stories. We are a people of a resurrected Jesus. Alleluia Alleluia!!
Blessings!
"This man names Jesus" that line alone made me cry so hard. Overwhelmed with love right now. Thank you for this.

Oh I’m so glad!!! He is so beautiful! So wonderful!!!
I love your video and enjoyed seeing, and hearing your excitement. I am happy and glad you are my sister in Christ. Welcome to the Catholic faith.
A beautiful testimony. You are an old soul with much God-given wisdom. I wouldn't mind listening to the rest if your conversion story.
Congratulations is very nice testimony welcome home.
Long version would be lovely💝
wow, I guess we just take the five senses part for granted, but that is so true...we see the visual depictions, touch holy water and make sign of the cross, smell the candles burning and sometimes the incense, hear, sing and say the prayers, songs, bells ringing, taste the Eucharest. Your impressions are enlightening.
Welcome sister to the one, the only one Church of Christ, I’ll recomemd you to read the Life of the Saints and the catesismo 🙏🙏🙏
Thank You for your beautiful story. God b
will bless and guide you in your journey as Catholic. Proud catholic here in the Philippines.
I took my faith for granted listening to you helped me to rekindle my faith again. God bless you sister.
Neru Amituanai I’m so glad!! Blessings
Welcome home sister!!!. GOD bless you.
This was excellent.
Welcome home! There's rejoicing in Heaven over you!
wms72 what kind words!! Thank you!!! Blessings!
Come onnnnnn.... spill it. We want the long version. 😊
Awesome stuff! I love watching conversion stories....they reinforce my faith and bring me to tears! So, if you make a longer version I will definitely watch it. I think it would be good for others to see as well. You are actually proselytizing like a good Christian (Catholic) does.
congratulation sist... get a big hug from Mexico... soncerely an ex protestant... god bless you...
Thanks for sharing your story. 😊💝
Thank God! God bless!

Thank you for your thoughts on the video!!! Loved everything you said!
Thank you for sharing your testimony..Welcome home.
Welcome home!! Sooo glad you found the channel!!! Please stay in touch and feel free to message me over at my Instagram page under the same name if you’d ever like to reach out! Blessings!
@@MyLittleDomesticChurch will do thank you so much! 🥰
Thank you for your witness, I also came to my Catholic faith from seemingly outside, although God was always leading me home to his Church. Bless you!
Welcome Home! Welcome to the fullness of faith and truth! the angels and saints rejoice!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful conversion story. I Love it.
You are his Beloved. Welcome Home! He was waiting for you with open arms. I truly enjoy your conversion. May God Bless you and continue your journey. Continue your faith. It was because you Believed and Trust the Prince of Peace. He wanted you. He wants a relationship with his Sheep. Welcome home! May God Bless you and your family. SO beautiful. His Love is Eternal for his Children. Jesus a true man of Holiness. Amen God Bless You and I see his Light on You. Welcome Home
Hahahaha I had goosebumps at the same time you did! So great, thank you for sharing!! 🌸💗🌺🤗
Oh I’m so glad! Thank you for your comment!! Christ is so good!! So good to us!! I love how He meets us where we are at and brings us to Him!! ❤️
Welcome home
Welcome home, sister! Thank you for sharing! I recommend listening to catholic radio from EWTN. It's helped me grow in knowledge of our beautiful faith. God bless you!
Amazing. What a humility honesty and love together. Welcome home.

Very interesting, I'd like to hear the longer version of your story!
I loved this video so much! Id love the long version!!
I want a longer version for sure!!!
Thanks for sharing your journey!
I just found your channel and I think you're great! Welcome to the church! I am a Catholic homeschooling mom, as well. We gotta stick together :) many blessings!
God bless you! Welcome home!
I would love to hear your full conversion story!
My wife and I go to Sy. Catherine is Suena in Austin. Were both born and raised Catholic. Welcome home sister.
great story! thanks for sharing...
Catholicism is a fiesta of the cool cultures: Irish whiskey, Mexican piñata, Italian pizza, French wines, Brazilian samba, Spanish flamenco, Portuguese fado and don't forget the Polish, Croats, Filipinos, Middle Eastern Christians and the growing Catholic USA.
And Bavarian cars...BMW!
@@Kitiwake 🤣Good to know BMW's Catholic
Absolutely brilliant video, thank you for being so open ☺️☺️❤️
Thank you for sharing your walk and being an inspiration to others who might still be searching for God. I pray that you make videos and that you be blessed in all areas of your life.
Great testimony God bless your family
Very inspiring. Maybe you’ve already uploaded a longer testimony, but if not, I think it would help a lot of people. And I appreciate your analysis of differences between Catholic belief vs. ChristianScience/NewAge.
You are so right to distill your story down to 15 minutes, I have tried watching some other people's videos and it is agonising waiting for them to get to the point! (quite apart of wasting an hour of your life). Anyway, congratulations on your reception into the church - you have made a good decision.
Good
Great
Let Jesus be glorified
Let's pray for one another
My heart is so singing! As a fellow former New Age hippie person!!! Also 90s pro choice democrat environmentalist LOL!! Still an environmentalist!!!
Hello, how is it like to be a catholic environmentalist?
Your mom sounds like such an inspiring person!
Thank you. Amen🌾🌾🌻🌻🌻💛💛
God bless you and your loved ones..! I REALLY like your conversion story and I think your longer version would be very interesting..!
BEAUTIFUL WITNESS, WELCOME HOME.
You are in the right place... i pray that you never leave... Welcome to Christ's one true church.

Long conversion story, now, lady!!! :) New subbie. Catholic convert homeschooling mom of 5 in MO.
Ruegg Crew hey hey!!

From a Catholic Irishman, welcome home my sister in
Christ. God bless.
Such a powerful story! Thank you for sharing!!!
hey this was posted on my birthday, and I too converted to catholicism
Wow! That is so amazing that your parents were positive about your interest in the Catholic Church!
Waiting for the episode of longer version!
Great and humble testimony
Oh and I love long conversion stories. Also you are adorable!
The truth of the Catholic Church is a multifaceted realitry. There are still so many awesome things you'll know about our Catholic faith as you go on and on. Welcome. And God bless us all.
vic38290 I love your comment so much! It is so true! Thank you! God Bless!
Thank you for your amazing story!! You are too cute for words :)
Such a lovely story! Even though I'm Protestant, I know you are my sister in Christ! I love how the Catholic Church has preserved so much sacred tradition and wisdom down through the centuries - so much excellent documentation and rich history, linking us to our earliest sources of the Founding Fathers. Your spirit's response to Jesus brings to mind His words to His disciples: :
"Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me."
Would love to hear the long version. Bless you, my sister!
Dusty Dungarees ohh how I love your comment! I was watching one of your videos earlier and I had to stop to tend to something but goodness I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!!!!! I am so pleased to have found t through Leas channel!!!!
@@MyLittleDomesticChurch ah yes, my videos tend to be bit long!! Admire how you told your conversion story in 10 minutes -skillz! And know the feels of having to watch video in pieces 🤣 #momlife
I am so happy to be finding women like you!
Dusty Dungarees girl my first try was an hour but my husband’s position in the Church specializes in Evangelization and Faith Formation and he encouraged me to try to make my Conversion video under 15 minutes. I thought that would be impossible!! But I prayed, wrote down some points and started! It was he Holy Spirit!! 😂
By the way I love He length of your videos! I finished one last night while preparing dinner!!! Gold! Pure gold!! I can’t wait to watch more!!
@@MyLittleDomesticChurch It must have been the Holy Spirit guiding your thoughts as you spoke! Just lovely to see the spontaneous resonation you had with truth. Just confirms how we are called and chosen out of this world.
Oh I am glad my videos are helpful!
Much love to you and yours,
Emily
Love watching your videos x
barbara mccaughley thanks so much!!
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Long version please!!!
Thanks be to God and His tender mercies. Welcome home sister!
There's plenty of room at the table of plenty for more beautiful souls to join holy mother Church and received the food of immortality, God himself! The greatest treasure on Earth!!!
