I haven't taken an acoustics course at the university yet but when I take it I will have a lot of information and I'll take full mark .. thanks to you teacher💪💫📚
Mr. James I wanted to congratulate you because it is the first time that I have seen the complete description of the letters of the English alphabet so accurate and complete.
Thank you, James for your fantastic pronunciation lessons! The biggest surprise for me was to know that even some native speakers pronounce 'ng' sound in a wrong way! Thank a lot!!! Happy to find your channel! Greetings from Ukraine!❤
I am from Bangladesh. I really appriciate you because of your remarkable class on phonetic. I was searching class like minded so finally got by your channel. It's really an outstanding class. Keep it up dear brother. May you live long.
Thought of asking you to make lengthy videos because all your videos are very useful, informative and not boring at all in any point, but please Take care of yourself sir ❤️ your eyes seems to be so dull, take adequate rest 🙏 thank you so much for your wonderful service 😊❤️ from India 🇮🇳.
It's so useful that you clearly describe N sound . N in the beginning sounds like "N" in Chinese Pinyin. while N in the end is kind of like Chinese Pinying “en”
Hi James! This was my first time watching one of your videos. I was a bit puzzled by the difference between /n/ and /ŋ/-until I stumbled upon your channel. Your explanation was so detailed, clear, and engaging that it finally clicked for me. Thank you, James! I'm really glad I found you. After watching, I didn't hesitate to hit that subscribe button! 👍✨️
Thank YOU for sharing this video with us. For me, it's quite challenging to produce this sound (n with an umbrella upside down) as I'm from Brazil (South America). Any way, I will keep practicing it!!!
I don't know if this has been pointed out here but the phonetic symbols for the word "funny" in this video is for the English word "enough" I think. Am I correct?
Technically I believe it is silent yes. BUT we have to be careful because it depends on what word comes AFTER these words. For example. In 'sing' the 'g' is silent. BUT, in 'sing about' the g is actually pronounced because of something called 'connected speech' in English. (sounds more like sin-gabout). Hope that helps! Have a great day!
Merci beaucoup!
I personally recommend beginning with the short vowel sounds… ua-cam.com/video/DIWkl9HcGy4/v-deo.html Then the long vowel sounds.. ua-cam.com/video/RmxByBumXxg/v-deo.html After that, try the diphthong vowel sounds.. ua-cam.com/video/lI3xTvwYsa8/v-deo.html then after that you should begin with my video about the letter A and work your way through the alphabet.. ua-cam.com/video/LjrhyKV6ALQ/v-deo.html Hope that helps! Have a great day Mohamed!

Great lesson! I have a question. Can we say, the letter "g" is silent in words such as song, King, ring etc. (As it isn't pronounced)

@@EasyENGLISHwithJames Thank you
Thank you very much for your nice videos.
I like your explanation thxs a lot
I noticed when you add -al to the end of autumn or even column, it changes the umn entirely which I find that quite interesting
Thank teacher for video this ❤️❤️❤️
