17:00 theres my favorite part I was looking for! Despite the trash story and lame raid- Zereth Mortis was a great zone. Look, feel, music, and zone gameplay on top.
I absolutely love the beginning music. It sounds so serene, so ethereal. We have literally found where everything was first created, and the music reflects that, and at the same time, it reflects why we are there. Zovaal is ravaging the land, and it's up to us to stop him, hence the tone of the music being sadly beautiful and desperate. I especially love the occasional whining instruments. It makes it sound like this truly is the cradle in which all worlds were born. Another beautiful track by the music team, and another round of applause and upmost praise from me.
I dont get the WoW fanbase, I remember people saying that there's a Burning Legion fatigue, after almost three expansions where we faced them, and now they say that Shadowlands is not Warcraft, instead they want to go back to Azeroth and kill boars in Elwynn again, because Warcraft is Orcs, Humans, Scourge and Legion. Do you want to go forward or do you wanna play recycled content again and again? Or do you wanna play what you think is the perfect expansion? The soundtrack is so otherworldly, yet peaceful and soothing.
I play WoW because of the open world, beautiful graphics, really great soundtracks and you can literally do what you want to do. The lore doesn't bother me, I have fun while playing WoW, and this is what it is meant to be.
@@Kuaralhete @ghoon Same, this is my favorite part even though we can find this tune hidden in other subpart of ZM music, It is best represented here with the harp. Give me tears
i love this zone. Its fun, its beautiful and the music is awesome. I wish more Zones today would be like zereth mortis. Im annoyed by this complex streamlined zones whre you just can walk a small path, cause u need to follow the storyzonequests or need to go 3D to navigate thru, like Ravendreht... I mean Ravendreth look awesome, but its a nightmare to play in that zone without flying.
My main joined the Venthyr and I loved to play Revendreth. Maldraxxus is hard to play when you are not able to fly. Getting to the world boss ... I died a thousand times getting there before flying
38:20 Is my absolute favorite part of the Catayst Garden track, hearing it in game while running around the area was a real treat. The zone itself has been a lot of fun for me personally. It's so relaxing to go do dailies, world quests, treasure hunt, and hunt rare spawns for sheer fun.
I just love how the FF14 people mock World of Warcraft music and insulting its music when this proves it’s capable of more. And plus, the music here is so calming and godly and has a epic feeling to it.
As someone who plays both World of Warcraft and FF14 (though I'm on a break from WoW now), I appreciate the soundtracks of both. They both have atmosphere and epic feeling to them when they need to and they can get emotional as well.
I mean I hear no variance in the pitch, tenor, or general arrangement. Its all just angel orgasm sounds to me but I'm not a music aficionado automata and caves sound slightly different but its all just gods wind chimes to me so if that fits cool, if that's what you like cool, but lets get something clear the ff14 people aren't mocking the music, they're mocking the entire product because in 14 the music isn't standalone from the game it fits the theme of the zone, the feel of the moment its played in cutscene or whomevers theme it is. The music is as much apart of the set design as the level itself or the NPCS. Stop trying to hype up your thing by creating phantasm boogeymen to point pitchforks at.
@@nobodyspecial690 I myself am not hyping anything, also I agree that, aside from a few moments, the music in WoW is mostly for background. There are times when the music fits perfectly into a region, dungeon, raid boss or an event, but FF14 music is part of the experience as well.
Just unlocked flying here for my newest video coming out tomorrow. Gotta say, considering the state of Shadowlands, this was the absolute highlight of the expansion.
I consider this is one of the best tracks in video games History, peaceful, elegant, sad and positive vibes at the same time. When I'm down I'm coming back to listen and heal. Considering the terrible expantion that has brought that wonderful and inspiring music.
@@Wowmusicable Yeees! I found it again. I was looking all videos in your List and didn't find it. Now i have it again. Thank you so much! Blessings to you, wish you a great time kind sir!
Might be an unpopular pick because of shadowlands, but honestly zereth mortis is one of my favourite zones of all time, wouldn't mind if a patch took place there. Not a fan of some of the tracks, but others more ambiental and mysterious really make the zone give a unique feeling.
Obra maestra de principio a fin, simplemente es maravillosa y sensacional, la banda sonora se la rifo, sobre todo la composición, es sagrada esta melodía de WOW, merece estar en lo más alto.
The music of the World of Warcraft - 20 years of incredible score writing, recording, producing, delivering - my goodness. This is the standard. This is modern classical music. It is such a colossal part of the WoW experience, so integral to it all. Shadowlands had a tough go as an expansion overall, but the music still delivered big time. Zereth Mortis as a listen is gorgeous, and am grateful we have it to enjoy for all time!
God, music team always delivers. This is something I will listen to many years after
Comes straight outta the PSO handbook.. Episode 2, forest 1, loaded and you take flight from the transporter just after you and 3 friends step in..

Catalyst gardens is just phenomenal. Reminds me of Crystalsong forest
I love it sooo much MORE MUSIC LIKE THIS PLEASE SO HEAVENLY BUT ALSO EPIC !!
Makes me think of Metroid. That's a good thing BTW.

This zone was such a breath of fresh air for Shadowlands & the music reflects that perfectly.
Jajaja, finally I see Zereth Mortis' ost on UA-cam 🥳 never play but listen 🥳 tack så jättemycket!

15:56 I'm always filled with nostalgia when I hear this as it is very similar to Chrono Trigger's "Corridors of Time" OST
It's a place I am looking forward too in Shadowlands...
So excited to see this place instead of the Jailer...
He was a boring villain and still is...
Great video. I wish there's 1 hour of catalyst gardens music
Can someone please make catalyst gardens in its own video

Kind of an Alien Resurrection meets Star Trek Insurrection music vibe in this zone. Interesting track composition either way.
They did a great job at this again ... I love it, can't get it out of my brain. Whistling it all day :D
