Just found your channel. Just wanted to mention an early beast is surprisingly good. It's not mindblowing, but craps all over the atlatl, and if you get the right things going can do 5k+ base in the end game. Sure 10s sucks, and you'll probably replace it, however it can be stupidly good when you're adding 500 base damage to it a day without breaking a sweat.
I had a crook run earlier highroll, also had arms dealer as first skill, managed to find both caltrops and the knife set that is the cooks weapon. Final board was crook, atlatl, knife set, caltrops, and the lion staff which was at diamond for 20% of hp as damage. Cruised to 10 in a row. Arms dealer as first skill is so strong.
I really like the Bazaar it's like an upgraded BackPack Battles mixed with classic Hearthstone aesthetic. I find it to be a really nice diversion cuz unlike Hearthstone you aren't really pressed for time in making decisions.
I feel like passing the early marbles while you've got atlatl is maybe a missed opportunity. If you get an ice enchant on marbles, those two items together have the potential to be an insane freeze engine for only 3 slots, and they're perfectly serviceable in the early game already. It's a bit of a longshot, but it's very low cost to fish for it.
(Also if you don't like this style of comment, ignore it - I use it to build tempo in the YT algo worst case) at 11:10 you take 5 spare change instead of 2 and upgrade - you already had 2, so you lost out a tiny bit of value there? Although saving it for the hope of getting the small items +value item is a case for the 5 instead.
Absolutely love that style of comment. If I make a misplay, I can only improve by spotting it (or having it called out to me in this case) and adjusting in the future. No amount of bad practice makes me better. Additionally, the algorithm likes that comment, and if the algorithm liked it, then who am I to judge?
I feel like Pyg's early tempo is too good. Like, he has great economy, lategame power and more opportunities to find his build. You'd think this comes at a cost of being slow at the start, but I get wrecked by fast Pygs day 1 kinda often😅 I mostly mean like Flail 6 CD 15x3 and the 6 CD bow that has multihit if Pyg has more hp
I'm sorry mate, but piggles are busted! Take that back! 3 sec cooldown on scaling? Imagine having a silver +8 every 3 secs to adjacent weapons. Or you get one of the X piggles that gives +4 (I think) to all your weapons every 3 secs. I also love the L/R variations of the yellow piggles. Combo that with Bushel, Bird and any property and from day 2 you can already start to shield for 20-30k per fight
I've actually upgraded the Piggles generating item to Diamond on more than one run. Worst case, you can combo it with that item that gives sell value to your items and just sell the piggles you get from it after each fight. With Lemonade Stand or anything that really scales off of selling small items, you'll be scaling your max hp yet.
Slow scaling build, not because the numbers, but because the lag lol upgrading atlatl gives you +20 dmg and -10% cd. I think it's a decent upgrade, it's outperformed by any other way to scale it later, but does a lot in the early days. Or in other words it's disappointing, but if it was stronger, it probably would be broken. Wrench triggers from your stash and can target stuff in your stash. A lot more stuff does that since the patch, so it might not have before. (edit of course you noticed) 34:58 you would have lost if that crit, that's some crazy scaling.
31:33 you undervalue atlatl a bit here. dps ignoring crit, because it's the same for all of them: item dps crook 14 longbow 69 (46 if lower hp) atlatl 33 dog 34 flail 37 Crook is of good, because it empowers the rest and bow does the most, but the rest is pretty much all equal and at 43:33 item dps crook 27 atlatl 146 dog 98 flail 66 longbow 126 (84 if lower hp) Atlatl is nr 1 in damage, outperforming the bow and the 546 damage dog that you have been scaling the whole game. 44:35 cane would be 106 dps, which is better than the flail and dog.
Yeah, I've been unduly harsh on Atlatl because it's so bad specifically on day 1 when you spend gold on it versus other things. It's definitely feels and not math, thanks for the numbers!
jaeh but thats a fair build you have there. its not even op, like most op builds will kill your build instantly ... so you have a very strong fair build there wahts the problem ? when you get a jojo next to your atlatl then we can start speaking about a broken build xD the only thing that could be a problem is the caltrop for dooleys
How are you guys winning so often? im not even playing on ranked and have only completed 10 wins 3 times out of probably 100+ runs. Any advice is greatly appreciated lol!
i think i never not went 10 wins in unranked to get my keys back and then in ranked i get 10 wins like every 2nd or 3rd time its alot harder then unranked unranked u should be able to go 10 wins with every real build considerable easy just dont force see what is the opener build a strong build around it

100% agreed. Golden Arms Dealer is probably fine, but not as a starting skill. It's wildly out of line with every other option.

I have to take the dog. Can't afford it. Ruff. 😅
Missing YoYo on Crook build with Atlatl should be considered a crime, ngl
UPGRADING THE ATLATL TOOK THE ATTACK TIME FROM 10 SECS TO 6.6
