- Today we stay in one of the beautifully themed Royal rooms but all is not as it first seems! Should you stay in the Royal Guest Rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort in Walt Disney World? I'll share an in-depth tour of the Royal Guest Rooms River View room along with an honest review. I'll also show Port Orleans Riverside food court, the hotel shop and the lobby. I’ve stayed at Port Orleans Riverside, Magnolia Bend, Standard room, but preferred location (close to the lobby/restaurants), 3 times, ranging from $270-$347 per night. Love it! My go to Disney Resort 👍

Bit of a dissapointment regarding the room but still interesting to watch 👍 Hope you managed to get a good nights sleep on the noisy, lumpy beds lol. And hope the weather improved!

I have been there and stayed at the Contemporary. You should go there. The monorail goes right through it. Chef Mickey is there and a beautiful restaurant on the upper level. I would ask to move to another resort.
Luckily wasn’t stay for long before we moved to Art of Animation Resort!

I stayed in a Royal room in March of this year, and I was disappointed also. The Royal rooms really need a huge refurbishment. I would rather stay at one of the All-Star resorts than at Riverside.

Fair comments. We have stayed at French Quarter 3 times and each time we wonder if we should have stayed here. You made me feel good about our decisions.
Always found Disney is a rip off. They rely on you being excited to not notice the hotels are not great. Room looked dated and was surprised you said was from 2012. Went to the Luxor in Las Vegas. But opted to stay in the pyramid. OMG huge mistake. You over look the casino so never got a decent sleep as the sound of slot machines was 24/7. Jealous of you as still love Disney 😊 Orlando is better than California or Paris ones 😊
I love the California and Paris Disneys too but have a HUGE soft spot for Disney World! It was a shame about the room but much better experience at the other Disney Resorts! 😀
