KS, what is your opinion regarding Arex Zero model pistols? I think for a Sig 220 series clone and for what you can get them for with like the tactical compact model which is very comparably equipped to legion series from sig it is an outstanding value. Don't get me wrong I love Sig 220 series pistols but damn they can be super pricy for a modernized model (Legion) over 2k and the Arex comes in mid 700s. Reviews of the Arex Zero seem very positive and it leaves quite a bit nore meat on tge bone for optics and ammo. I think that companies like PSA, Bear Creek, and Davidson Defense offer very good quality components in their AR stuff for people who do not want to come off a month worth of working class income for a rifle. I seen a review of a PSA AR where they torture tested it full auto suppressed and it did not start to really fail until after 5,500 to 6k rounds. In all fairness they were getting it pretty hot and did not tune the gas system in it for suppressed fire which may have aided in its breaking down. I do not think a general consumer is going to put that amount of rounds through their rifle in its lifetime and even if they do they are covered by a lifetime warranty which kind of sets PSA apart from the crowd. You can all take that for what it is but IMO that would be a positive motivator for me to be okay with spending 400 bucks on a PSA AR and not be worried. The impressive thing was that it kept grouping acceptably clear up to the 5500 mark and remember they were shooting full auto which creates a great deal more heat than the average semi-auto shooter. As for a new 1911 DS/2011 quality for MSRP I think that the Tisas and MAC are one of the best values followed by Bul Armory. I get that there are others in the 1500 dollar range but I do not believe their quality to be on par with that of Bul Armory's. As for PSA Dagger their compact s is absolutely a fantastic pistol because it is a 19x format on a budget and comes better equipped out of the box by sporting an optics cut, steel sights, better stippling, and more ergonomic contours to the slide and grip frame. I could live without the lonely finger groove but that is easily Dremeled away and I do not like the FN and Gen 1 M&P hinged trigger, but I am not mad at the company at all considering their products generally exhibit a reliability that consumers can trust their lives to and come in at MSRPs that do not alienate the lower payscaled range of the working class citizens. Another thing to consider is that they are an American company that while their prices are on the lower end of the range, their products do not suck. We need more American firearms manufacturers that aren't producing products that come in at unobtainium prices. Obviously, this guy has never shot a PDW otherwise he wouldn't make such an asinine comment. MAC makes an MP5 clone for around 1100 bucks that is so close it accepts actual MP5 parts. The benefit of PDW is you can stock up on one caliber of ammo and have it be universal across all of your firearms plus 9mm is cheaper to train with than 5.56 or 7.62. The other benefit is that many of them utilize the same pattern magazines as your pistol like Glock, M&P, and Ruger. Also for a home defense weapon a PCC or PDW with subsonic ammo with a can attached has less overpenetration risk than a rifle round. You have DA trolls everywhere and we just need to disregard their ignorance and move on. Great chat, sorry I missed it live. Glad to see you back on YT hosting and posting. Would love to see what you think about the Tisas brand of firearms as they are really beginning to grab some traction in the market.
Killa, thank you for the comments! Agree with you in the PSA thoughts and the guys comment about PDWs. He’s out of touch for sure. As for Arex, I’ve only shot one but was very impressed. I’d always default to Sig for that series, but Arex is a great alternative for sure. Cheers brother!
Hi KS . I missed what is wrong with your wrist ? My wrist problems we're probably different than yours . But I have incredible pain and swelling in my wrists . Luckily I got a new rheumatologist who discovered I had sarcoidosis and rheumatoid arthritis . Too many white blood cells . Fortunately he set me up with injectable Humira changed my entire life no more wrist pain .
