I'm personally so fed up with the whole child-free movement. There are SO many couples now saying, "we've chosen to be child-free" and then of course they expect people to accept and even applaud their selfishness. These are the people who immediately get angry if a baby is on a plane even if that baby is sleeping quietly. They don't even want kids around them at all. (And this attitude is CLEARLY a by-product of the widespread acceptance of abortion.) Meanwhile you also have people - single and married - who refer to their pets as their children and call themselves pet parents. They have their "furbabies." It's pathetic. I've had pets. I especially love cats. But I'm a pet OWNER, not a pet PARENT.
The good news is that natural selection is mostly going to take care of these issues.
Why do you care if people wanna have kids or not, doesn’t affect you in any way
I'm one of the few conservatives that don't want kids. My genetic line is flawed due to my birth parents being drug addicts which caused me to have health issues as a kid. I'm diagnosed with asthma, ptsd from the terrible abuse I suffered and a whole bunch of other things. I don't want my bloodline to continue. I'm fine with being an uncle. I also don't have the patience to raise kids. I don't think I'm mentally fit for it. If I ever change my mind I'd probably adopt. I was adopted so I may continue that if I ever change my mind. Not wanting kids isn't always selfish. Not everyone should have kids or can have kids.
I understand christianity and god wants people to have kids but it isn't for everyone. I'd be more than happy to find a woman I'd spend my life with and we live our lives together. I of course don't want to take anything away from actual parents. Parents (the good ones) take a lot of time, effort and love to raise well mannered, respectful, kind and hard working people. I just don't think I could give that. I'd be afraid I'd pass on my flawed genetics or have a kid with something worse. I'd be afraid I'd turn into my birth parents. So for me personally I don't want kids. Most people have them. Only a minority of people don't ever have them. Not sure why not wanting kids is to be selfish. SOme cases it is. Others its just a personal choice.
If I ever reach success in life I plan to start a charity helping foster homes and foster kids where it helps find kids loving homes and funds the parents journey to adoption. Also to buy foster homes christmas presents and basic meals for the holidays.

@@jameshulet7969 It's hard to predict what aliens would look like because they might have evolved on planets with different atmosphere compositions or different terrain, plus they might have different forms of symmetry (or even no symmetry) and they might even have very different senses of vision/hearing/smelling etc.
They might have those fleshy dreadlocks, like the Independence Day aliens. Imagine The trapped-behind-glass scene where the alien yells 'Release me!' Only he yells it more frantically when Joe sneaks up behind and starts giving him the sniff sniff.

My great-grandma has Alzheimer's and is on her deathbed. She married a war hero, converted to Catholicism, and had tons of kids. I and many others would appreciate prayers for her and for our family. While I don't support treating your dogs like human children, I simply cannot trust anyone who downplays the importance of the domestication of dogs to the sudden advancement of civilizations across the human race.
The dogs role was equally as important as the horse/pack animal.
Remove the dog and the horse from the equation and man would likely still be in the early Iron age.
Although they are wonderful companions, they did Not contribute more than the horse.

The domestication of dogs literally recalibrate the human mortality rate. They protected mankind...especially the young...against other predators which lead to lower rates of people dying young from predation or injuries sustained from attacks. They also assisted in hunting the food to feed the healthier, longer living humans and woukd defend their people against other aggressive clans.
Without dogs, humanity probably wouldn't have made the leap to horse breaking for an additional 2000 years.
Domesticating dogs would also later advance the domestication of other animals such as ancient cattle, birds, goats and so on. Dogs were the gatekeepers/beginning of humanity understanding the importance a animal can have whether they were for friendship, utility use or farm use. Then later using animal products to invent new things such as using animal fat for woodworking, flammable source, easy clothing and source for leather working and so on. Dogs and horses were and still are the most useful animals around.

I'm a conservative having my 4th kid in 4 years because I love my husband and love kids. There's no political agenda. I know people with 7 kids who had them for the same reason. I have never heard the term pro-natalist movement. I never once considered immigration and, though I agree that the population needs to be replaced, I'm not having kids exclusively for that reason. Though maybe the liberals should consider that for themselves.
