Please pretty please do a time management video! I am carefully considering pottery as a business, and your business style and approach seem to make sense to me. I want to see as much of your day-to-day operation as you are willing to show.
I’d love to! My approach I would say is super flexible. It feels the most natural to me, and working with clay is so unpredictable that planning everything out never works out the way you want anyway 😅 So I try to divide my time into week long stretches rather than day-to-day. I can definitely do a video about it!
About a clean studio... I have been throwing for 14 years, and all of those years have been in public or semi-public studios. So, although I am a messy person at home, I have learned the art of cleaning up everything in the studio that I have used at the end of each day. There was only one exception, and I hated the mess by the third day. I felt too muddy and had to get it cleaned up! 😅😂
Thank you so much! They’re a combination of wheel throwing and sculpting. All the parts are individually thrown in the wheel and then assembled together into a sculpture :)
Hi! Generally when I’m working on my ceramics I only work with a mask when I know there is going to be dust particles (glazing, sanding etc.) or when applying lusters (toxic fumes). When clay is dry, it produces dust. This contains silica, which is harmful for your lungs. In this case there was a lot of dried up clay creating dust around me as I was cleaning, so I wanted to make sure to protect myself. To prevent it just make sure to keep your surroundings clean and always use a lot of water when cleaning your workspace :)

Fun video! My before studio is way worse right now... send helppppp 😅😂
Hahahaha, just ignore it and it’s not there 🫣 That’s my strategy 90% of the time, works pretty well 🤣🫶🏻
Yaaay!! 🎉 So shiny ✨️ This made my Sunday morning. Can't wait for those pics and new mugs, they look AWESOME!!!
That’s so sweet!! Happy you enjoyed this one 🥰 I’m dying to see those pictures too!
New follower and potter to be here, love your content and glad I got here just as you starting content again! Welcome back!
Thank you! Love hearing from others in their pottery journey 🫶🏻
Sending a lot of love!! I love what you doing❤
Thank you so much! ❤️
I think having some mess during making goes hand in hand with having a creative mind. 😊 procrastination too. 😂
Absolutely! I always say I’ll be more tidy next time, but it always fails. I think I just have to accept it for what it is 😆
My art teacher used to say “if your space is clean you’re not doing anything “…😂☕️🍩Thanks so much for this😊
I LOVE this hahahaha. Creativity is chaos sometimes. I don’t think my space will ever look perfectly organized tbh, I thrive in the mess 😆
@@thecarmeister agree!.. it’s what I use, that’s why it’s messy😂
Your watering bells - they are enchanting! How do you make them?

wahhh love the haircutt ✨
Oooooh thank you!! 🥰 I needed a change, starting to miss my short bangs a little bit now though 🤭
Op 8:21 doop je een mok in een emmer (glazuur?), maar heb je tijdens het dopen wel eens iets laten vallen in die emmer? 😅

oh we miss youuu
I promise I won’t be gone for so long this time!!
Jaaaa leuk!
Ik ben er weer!!!
Sucha cute video ❤❤❤
Good job
Hi! Why were you wearing a mask? I never do when I do ceramics, and Im afraid now
