Hi Zoe. I just want to say thank you for being so incredibly good at teaching these videos! You have helped me countless times making cakes and figurines which make the people who receive them so happy 😃.
You are so clear and patient and humble that your videos are an absolute joy to watch and follow.
Thank you again ❤️
One of the things I hate about character fondant tutorials is that usually the resulting character looks nothing like it's supposed to .. I am however delighted to say that's not the case with this tutorial of Scooby, which actually looks remarkably like him! Lovely. Well done zoe! I look forward to seeing how the mystery machine is made!
Thanks so much Louise

Hello Zoe, I Hope you have had a good day today. It’s morning here in the U. S. on the West Coast in Washington State and raining miserably. I think you would be right at home here!
I have been going through some of the older videos getting ideas to start with and just watch your Scooby Doo video which is absolutely adorable. Being new at making things like this, I was hoping that maybe you could suggest one of your projects that would be Best to start with and what medium to use. I am still trying to figure out the difference between the gumpaste and modeling paste having not used either of them. Like I said I am brand new to the carving and molding even though I have been watching your videos for over a year now. I am getting my confidence level is up, that’s a good excuse right, ha ha not really! You can’t screw it up if you don’t start it so that’s been my excuse.
Anyway, any help you could offer me would be greatly appreciated. It seems that most of the modeling or a cookie making and cake decorating Is done either in England or Canada, which has the most. I may have to relocate and that wouldn’t be too bad the way our government is here now. But that’s another subject.
Thanks so much for your help and thanks also for putting your wonderful designs online for us to see. Your work is awesome, I know you hear that all the time but it’s true. I can I think of other words, fantastic, marvelous, adorable, precious, sweet, childlike, there are so many words I can come up with depending on the particular design and looking at but they are all wonderful no matter what I am looking at and I could only dream of being Even close to the level you are at. I would like to find out more about you, when you started carving, If you took classes Or if you have always been naturally talented, things of that nature. I am always interested in the person and what got them started and doing this type of work or play, Whatever it is to you. Is this your job or do you work outside your home or is this full-time? Enough for now!
Thank you wants again and let me say one more time how much I appreciate watching your videos, and thank you for keeping the older videos online for me to watch and enjoy. My six-year-old grandson also watches them from time to time with me. He loves Mickey Mouse And I see the Mickey Mouse Tutorial right now That I will play for him when he gets home from kindergarten. I hope you have a great day, well a wonderful evening I should say! One of your friends across the pond, way, way, way across the pond,
Irish Jilli
Jill Pritchard Hi Jill, you can buy fondant from Michaels or Joann’s or ACMoore with their coupons. Use their apps or the Sunday paper has their coupons. You can also buy Tylose powder available at the same craft stores and mix a teaspoon in a fist full of fondant. It works way better than gumpaste. I have followed Zoe’s tutorials for the last year and her Frankenstein cupcake is a easy one to start with or her bat cauldron one. Good luck 😊
Zoe awesome job that you made with this scooby doo figure, Congratulations!!!! 😄 I really enjoy this video and I already put it in practice. Thanks and I hop you keep making more videos like this. Again Congratulations 😀😊 and I send you all the best From Mexico 😉

I feel a few key details regarding body shape, and matching the head to that shape are missing. For example , I can't see where the top of scooby' chest was given it's details and specific pushed out shape. Now most of this is quite good, but needless to say with years of sculpting experience , I have had to start over 4x which is quite frustrating.
Also , when did the body get cut flat to add the head ?
