Very clean bikes. GT performers were the ultimate bikes in my area during the late 80s early 90. If a kid had GT. It was the same as an adult having a Porsche LoL
I'm 45 and had a black 87 when I was 16. The pink and black is sick! Black on the blue bike would look better. I still ride these days so if you guys are ever in Tampa give me a shout.
I totally prefer the factory look of all white parts on a day glow pink bike. However, Martin Aparijo himself did once ride black tires on a day glow team model in ‘87. 😎
Dayglo getting a lot of love here, but that Maui blue is MINTY!!! Have one myself, but not in that condition. Did they come with front and rear reflectors like that? I've never seen that.
what u mean about that life? sometimes a bike needs restoration. sometimes people ain't posers and actually scratch the frames up and they need to go to C4.
Keeping the scratches on a bike and original decals makes it a survivor, which is something many vintage gt collectors want like myself. While restoring the whole bike looks nice it takes away the original charm and character that the bike had.

i had the original in 87 it was white and pink ...back then my friends made fun of me for riding a pink bike but stopped after all the hot girls wanted to ride it at the pool lol

I think the black is sharp, certainly more aggressive. I think I've salivated over the pink and white so long that it seems almost like the bike's "true colors" if that were a thing. I dream about having this exact bike in pink and white. Are those pedals sr474's?

Trimmed out in white definitely makes it look more 80's but either way they look cool,nice bikes

ya they came like that stock but everyone took them off first thing lol

I dont know why people call thier tour modle a team model, all team modles have double thick rear dropouts
