Hello there! I was wondering if you could help me with what to use at home to get this look. Im not a licensed professional, but i love doing color. Thank you!!😊
Hey Dawn, I loved your video its very detailed! Your energy was perfect. I understood everything you were explaining you made this look real simple. I don't know why I doubt myself at times. I'm going to try this on one of my clients.
@dawnbradley i absolutely LOVE your hair Dawn. I know this is an old video, but what would I ask for in the salon to get your highlights? I already have the haircut and base color. Thanks ❤❤❤
Hey Dawn, great video, but I wanted your thoughts about Flash Toning hair, does the tone fade quicker if its not processed for the full time? I've been doing hair for a while and have always wondered about that. What are your thoughts?
You are so inspiring to me! Not just hair but in being a real fun human being. I loved that you pivot the foils towards the part line on the top, that is genius! 💖
thank you Miranda, you are so kind!!! I think telling someone that as a human they inspiring is one of the best compliments you can give someone, so thank you SOOOO much, I cant wait to start bringing new videos out soon!
Hiiii! Omgoodness new fan here! I loved so much of this. I loved your motivational speech, I love your vibe/energy and I love that you showed all angles of the final product. And yes! She does look amazing! You’re so talented! I’m inspired for work tomorrow 😘
Ashley! OMG what a nice compliment, thank you so much. I cant wait for you to see what I come out with next, you're gonna love it. have you watched any of my other videos yet?
When I went to Cos school, foils were not included in the training so when I was asked to do highlights, I was going in blind and winging it! LOL Now, since the advent of UA-cam, there are all kinds of tutorials and I find it very interesting to see that my instincts were spot on...I may not be an expert, but my results are good. I got some good tips from you as well, so thanks!
Just Don't get intimidated like I did and quit after joining my "dream Salon" to work with.. Being real, 20 plus years later I appreciate SO much more for myself. Positive vibes and prayers for you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love your authenticity! Fun to listen and learn from. One question: at the toning portion of the video you say Flash tone. What does that mean? Thank you 😊
Hey Kelly, Thanks so much for the awesome quesiton, what I mean is I only leave the toner on for about 5-10 min. ( dont tell the manufactures :-) ) I'm so glad you enjoy listening, I always wanna keep it fun. Have you watched any of my other videos?
@@dawnbradley ahh the one thing we’re told not to do but honestly I used to tone on damp hair and not always for the full recommended time- now we are constantly reminded not to do that. 🤷♀️ I’ve just watched this video but I’ve watched your ‘lives’ with our salon company that you’ve recently started doing. 😊
Hey Dawn! I absolutely LOVE your videos! Your energy & just your realness makes it so easy to watch/learn from you! ❤️ Such an informative video I did have a question... you mentioned you do everyone’s money piece different to suit them & that you work internally based off the placement - could you please elaborate on that for me? Recent graduate & I wanna be able to learn to place with intention & better understand the why. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! 🙏🏽
@@dawnbradley atm I'm loving eveything you have on money pieces and have already tried you're technique for following that through into the section behind the ear! Fabulous - you've given my hairdressing a new lease of life 🙏💖
Love foiliyage! Is that how u spell it?? So much control with the technique and can really give you control to NOT overlap in previously lightened ends! Nice work Dawn, per usual!
I am new to your videos. I am so ol school and balyage is so new to me. I am going to try your technique on my sister in law. She has dark, super long, super thick hair. Wish me luck.
Newly subscribed! Loved your video! Really appreciate your personality! I def giggled thru this! My highlights are very similar to this but more warmth, I like my blonde golden! But the lowlights and money piece placement, yes mam! I usually go to my stylist for highlights but I can't afford it right now. So. I'm about to attempt highlights and lowlights by myself soon. I have the color accept the online store I purchased from sent me 6GN instead of 6N!!! What the hell am I going to do with green! Lol so I am waiting for them to fix my order or me just purchase more. I need the 6N! Anywho, I've been looking at money piece videos on here and yours is the closest to the way my girl does my hair. So THANK YOU! Hopefully I can't report back with a success story! Lol
Gorgeous!!! I still can’t get into the whole shadow root/root tap. I took an online teasy light class and just did a global toner and it was great! I guess I just don’t understand when a shadow root is necessary ..... if you teasy light, do you need to shadow root? .... 🤔
Thank you, this is a great method! I love the result! on a virgin hair, would you have just replaced the lowlights by chunks of natural hair? would there be a way to do this so that you wouldn't have to do a root smudge afterwards?
Hey Dawn. Just confirming @12:05, when you did the lowlight, was it all the way thru the ends? (And thru the ends on all the lowlights?) The video jumped there. Thx
@@dawnbradley did you mix any clear and with the 10vv and the 9V when I use those it normally turns into like a more red I'm not understanding what I'm doing wrong, not really red but pink ish not sure 💜

You’re the best! Are you into this? Will you try it? Let me know
Yes, I have the perfect client. This was very helpful. Thank you for sharing.
Good job really came out so good thanks for sharing your experience I loved it. ❤️
Well done. I have a question about tapping 5N on roots, or shadowing wouldn't be ❤easier to do when the foil is on, like Mergen Technik❤

omg thanks for such a sweet compliment. and OH NO about the green, specially because you like warmth. I hope you get your new color soon!
Beautiful 😍 what do you mean when u say flash tone? I think I do this
i love that you asked, flash tone is when you only leave the toner on for about 5 min at the sink. is that helpful?
Gorgeous!!! I still can’t get into the whole shadow root/root tap. I took an online teasy light class and just did a global toner and it was great! I guess I just don’t understand when a shadow root is necessary ..... if you teasy light, do you need to shadow root? .... 🤔

Love this video and the talk! Thank you!
What do you mean by a flash tone leaving the root toner on and the other on at the same time new to the industry new subscriber
great question, when I say flash tone I mean to only leave it on for a few minutes ( not the 20 min processing time ) I hope thats helpful
