I just found this Channel from a google search, I’m now subscribed & liking!!! I’m so proud a fellow Aussie is so talented and SO EASY TO UNDERSTAND, you’re awesome and your videography is spot on and clear to see, great lighting , well articulated and all of this makes it so much easier follow as you go along with your tutorial ❤❤
I lost a lot of hair since having a baby and have worn wigs and hairpieces since. I usually buy synthetic, as I've tried dying wigs in the past and it never turned out. Your videos gave me the confidence to start dying human hair wigs, and to say I finally feel myself again is an understatement. I cannot thank you enough James ❤
Ive just found your videos and they are brilliant. I went to hairdressing school years ago but had forgotten a few things. TOmorrow im doing highlights on my sisters virgin hair! Shes only 13 but giving her a bit of a glow up. Your videos have been a great refresher. Thank you
Looks so nice! I did something similar to my own hair recently. I don’t do hair as a job, but I am licensed. It’s been 7 years since I did hair as a profession. It’s nice having the skill so I can do my own. Lol.
Thank you for watching. I will create this tutorial for you asap. Until then here is a Foiliage application ua-cam.com/video/R6AZf_IAQhM/v-deo.htmlsi=cuxhizo6p3Yw6pqu
I’m a baby hairstylist, I was taught this way by my teacher and it is beautiful. However I have had an issue with this placement twice. Once on someone who had very fine and low density hair. It barely showed up as a money piece. The other time I had an issue was with a client who had a lot of hair and a wider flatter head shape and it was the chunkiest ugliest money piece I’ve seen and was my worst colour I’ve done. I was really upset as I’m trying to do my best and gain a clientele, but what I learned is that depending on the hair type and density and shape of someone’s face/head can change this technique so warning! When done right with the right person it is the prettiest.
Hey Victoria, thank you so much for your comment. Depending on head shape and hair density will definitely determine the result of your face frame application. My tip before colouring is to comb the hair into natural fall, and lift and drop where you want to see the colour, and then section according to wear the hair falls and how strong or soft you want the application to be.
@@HairByJamesAnnabel Just love you're work ⭐ I wish you lived in my Neighborhood well a girl can wish . If you ever get to Ranch Mirage California 🇺🇸 I have to take you out for Coffee ☕☕💜
This is how i have seen it done consistently by many hair professionals and it looks pretty achievable to do on your own hair. I have seen also the teasing as you get higher on crown of head near top. Just like this and it is so beautiful. But i feel like the toning is where it gets hard. If you wanted to continue for partial hughlights throughout what would you do?.

Live and learn! Most of us learn by mistakes. Especially starting out. Then we learn even more by correction! 😎
