The meeting of two CBS Primetime stars-Jack Lord, and guest star Ed Asner ("THE MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW" and "LOU GRANT") a fitting example of "HAWAII FIVE-O"s quality in its many visitors to the series 12 season run!
jack lord. was. the best. there no one. out there. liked. him I wish I met him and we talk about. Ireland and were his mum and dad. came. from. love. u. for ever jack lord.
Edward Asner probably worked more hours than most actors at the time, first on the Mary Tyler Moore Show, then in movies as well and then other guest spots.
@@janicesanders9981 you tube shows only clips like this....few years back a sister site called daily motion used to have full episodes but they were often chopped up and of bad quality .....I have a dvd set on the way.

jack. lord. you were. the. best. as I am from Dublin. and your. mum and. dad. were. Irish did you jack. ever come to. Ireland and to see were. your mum and came. from love you forever
@Fred Wucher I seen one of the early episides I'm assuming and he drove what I thought to be a 1967 or 1968 2 door hardtop Mercury . I read the 1968 4 door had a 465 HP ,428 C.I with a 4 barrel carb . There's a nice story about it I read . I was facinated with the 68' he drove . I aways thought if I ever had the money I'd get the origanals or have the same Bullit mustang and he Five 0 Mercury . Never been that big of a Ford fan either .
@Fred Wucher My father had a 1974 LTD station wagon with the 460 CI . If you kept your foot down you could see the gas hand move . Not much horse power considering the gas mileage . Think that was the year before catalytic converters and pointless ignition . I just remember when I was a kid wanting a that 68' Mercury .
Great episode!! RIP to both Jack Lord and most recently Ed Asner.
The New Hawaii 5-0 I just watched once only.
🤣 😂 I can’t believe that I. The newer 5-O, they showed old clips of this episode. That was FREAKING AWESOME!!!! Lol
August March is the best villain

He was Lou Grant on The Mary Tyler Moore Show. He was Mary Richards cantankerous boss.
Me gustaba la serie. Me gustaria volver a verla. Pero no entiendo ingles
Too bad CBS has a stranglehold on this show, you can not even view it on Amazon Prime. These snippets intrigue me to no end.
Try UA-cam..
