This is the same recipe I have been making cookies out of. My husband loves them, and isn't a big peanut butter fan. For a single recipe I add in 1/3 cup unsweetened coconut flakes and 1/2 cup unsweetened chocolate chips. 1 TBSP size balls flattened slightly and baked for 7-8 minutes or just until the edges are very lightly browned. Need to cool completely to firm up. I have started adding in 1/4 cup cocoa powder to half of the batter to make chocolate, chocolate chip cookies and he loves these ones too! 🍪 ❤
I just found this one, I think Lily’s sugar free chocolate chips are good and the other one is Bake Believe sold at Walmart. I have to try this recipe. Thank you Gramma Rose.❤
I make these all the time being keto . I am 69 . I noticed your peanut butter on keto it has to be pure peanut butter without anything but peanuts and salt to be keto. Good treat
@@kathybruton2186 I have used Lily brand, but don’t like them as well. If it’s zero with no sugar, what’s the difference in one brand over another. Just asking for information 🌹
Rose, check how much sugar is in your peanut butter. Check the carb count too. Not carb free, even of you choose the peanut butter that has no sugar added. Roy, milk is high in carbohydrates. Don’t know about the glycemic load as keto doesn’t count that. I can tell you’re learning as you go. Also hersheys choc. Chips contain malitol. If you notice you get a lot of gas or diarrhea, it’s the malitol. Next time try a different brand sugar free chocolate chip that use a different sweetener until you find one your stomach can tolerate. and no sugar peanut butter. Just peanuts and salt in the ingredient list. I use Adams. Comes in a glass jar. Not a criticism, just a healthful foot note to help you better eliminate carbs. Keep up the good work. Most truly keto followers will know what they can or cannot have so if you make a mistake saying your carb count, they will know. No worries.
Thanks. Your right. Rose cut these into 20 pieces which with no sugar peanut butter gives you about 5 carbs per piece. But assuming most people eat 20 to 30 carbs per day in ketosis this item is keto friendly still.... depending on how many other carbs are eaten in the same day. As rose stated this item is for when someone just has to have something sweet and chocolatie....and is willing to spend these carbs to eat this item. You cannot eat multiple pieces in same day and stay in ketosis unless you really watch the carb count for the day and keep total below 20 to 30. I said a cup of coffee with this is good for me or a glass of milk. The coffee for strictly keto eating for the day. Rose and I use GL for carb control of insulin. Lowered insulin also indirectly causes the body to produce and burn ketones. GL lower than 20 per day usually puts active people in ketosis. The GL of milk is about 1 per cup of regular milk. Using GL count I can have a cup of milk and a piece of the browny for about 5 GL at one time. I still would have 15 GL left to eat for the day to stay under 20 GL. The key in either approach is what other foods in addition to the brownie a person decides to eat in one day.
Will def b giving these a go. Made some little peanut balls yesterday to take on a trip. No cookingneeded so quick and easy. They are weetabix. Dates soaked in boiling water for 10mins and peanut butter. Mix all ingredients with some of the saved date water make into balls+ cost with cocoa powder or crushed nuts.all done😊
Good heavens, these look delicious! I made the German chocolate icing of yours and made some mini chocolate cupcakes and they are yummy. However, I will cut back on the Allulose as it was a bit too sweet for us. I’m guessing I will do the same here as the p-nut butter is already sweet. Keep these recipes coming. You both are delightful and God bless!
@@kathyandruss9623 If you are using natural peanut butter, you will need the sweetener, but if yours has added sugar, I would cut back by 1/4 cup or so.🌹
You should link to the original video so that they get credit for the recipe. I think you could just spread chocolate chips over the top without heating them first. Then spread when you take them out of the oven.
Is your stevia mainly erythritol? It may confuse a newbie saying stevia, when shopping. I love what you and Roy do to help us who are eating low carb with your delicious recipes. I use Crazy Richards peanut butter, nothing but peanuts and salt.

@@angeladiaz7746 My granddaughter sent this recipe to me so I don’t have the link. The Brownies look delicious. However the ingredients you use were far from zero carbs. Check your product labels. The peanut butter alone has 4 carbs for just 2 tablespoons, you used 2 cups!
