2 words - Non-Ethanol! Use non-ethanol premium fuel in small engines. It lasts at least 6 months. Regular gas will break down and start to become sticky and eventually gelatinous in carbs within about 3 months. P.S. If you ad fuel stabilizer to ethanol free gas, it's good for up to 2 years. I've worked on small engines and carbs for years.
@JamesSmith-yb2vi Yes. I ise carb cleaner when I take carbs apart all the time. A good speay and lthen et it soak 30 minutes or so. The best is if you can get the jet out, as you can clean holes with fine wire.
I cleaned my carburetor but didn't take out the small part to the float I just sprayed the cleaner in that area and took out the other pins. 2 days prior put in a new spark plug. Went out today it worked well for a few hours once I ran out of gas and filled it back up didn't work . Gas was leaking out from the valve when it floods. Took it home checked the spark plug and it's already black. I store it in the car tiller side up like the sticker says. What can cause this problem.any help is greatly appreciated
What is the price of this type of carburetor? is it possible to get a used functional model like this since the new one is quite expensive (I am from Bosnia - here is only possible to buy a new one, which is 400 eur).

they pop out of there holder very easy then you have to line them together pain in the bum

This unit has a fuel filter inside the main hose from tank to shut off valve.
