In this video I show you how to repair a ripped off 5v power connector on a PlayStation 4 Pro by another party.
This repair required circuit board level micro soldering, I show you an approach to performing it.

Just finished watching this fair play top job done on this repair i like the foil tape method 10/10 when the music kicks in it really compliments the video.

You have opened my eyes to uses for copper tape. This is an excellent example of thinking outside the box and doing the job flawlessly. This looks so much better than a big solder blob.
Appreciate that Jason. Don't know why but I just felt like trying some things on this one. Was glad it worked out. I'll probably do a few things differently on the next one but there is a reasonable starting point.

Great idea with the copper tape for the ground pads, never seen that before. Really nice repair. Really enjoyed this one. Great video 👍

Hey m8 good job on that repair. bit of a tip for ya, next time around you can ad some jb weld or other epoxy where the copper tape covers the exposed fiber glass, and proceed as you did to add solder to the edges to make the connection. It will be Better than factory!

What gauge of wire did you go with on this one??
I believe 30AWG but like all my spools it doesn't have a size label
I sent my ps4 pro in for one of these (diy cleaning gone wrong) and they said they couldn't do anything and I need to pay $40 for it back... ("processing")
