im american as well, but i listen to a lot of UK garage and watch a more-than-usual-for-a-yank amount of UK media. I think the main reason PJDN doesn't get alot of recognition in the USA is because a lot of the subtle jokes go right past you if you aren't a little familiar with UK slang and stuff.

I'm very late to the party... I only discovered this show three days ago (nine years late) and I absolutely love it. I don't know how it escaped my attention when it was on the air... I can only assume that it didn't get mainstream publicity? The show is a gift that keeps on giving

Took a long time to get the recognition it deserved. I only found it after it had been showing for a while and I went back and watched previous episodes. It's an absolute gem.
When roche was about to give birth and chabs was pushing her in the wheelchair screaming "move out the way you panchods" gets me every time. Love this show so much.
The reason this show was so incredibly funny was because it was so relatable. If you haven't found yourself in Chabuddy G's scenario's then chances are you're playing life to safe. Thanks so much for all the laughs.
