Join Freddie Perkins and his wife Bunny as they share their passionate dream of bringing healthy, delicious bison meat to families across America. Witness a young Seth and Scott, just 11 and 13 years old, alongside their siblings, actively involved in ranching and embracing the values that shaped the Perkins family into the industrious force they are today.
This captivating documentary, filmed in 1993 on the original Whitefeather Farm, originally aired on Wadsworth television and later served as an early marketing tool to introduce their bison meat to local shops and their own retail store. It beautifully captures a significant era before their transition to Whitefeather Meats in 1994, where they still proudly operate today.

those are swans..lots of them over here in southern Ontario on the north side of Lake Erie.

Thank you so much for sharing your roots and hearts with us.Growing up without much of a family (mother threw my sister & I away, my father deserted us after custody was thrust on him, spent time as a ward of the state, ended up as a sudo-servant to my father's mother and her second husband - not the best environment to grow up in. I've worked hard, been married for 50 years now, had a full military career, followed up by a career in aviation, have walked with the Lord for just over 50 years, and I am at peace. Hearing family history stories such as what you've shared, fills my soul with a smile. Well done Perkins family, well done.

What an amazing story! Thank you for sharing! You absolutely should take some clips of the history and make it an intro reel for you videos. In particular the history of the White Feather name and reason you have it and then the bit about your selection and preservation of the breeding stock animals you have in your herd to continue the legacy of your farm, your bison, and its history.
