Robert Brandom - On Philosophical Genealogies

The term genealogy in this context refers tot he philosophical heritage of Neitzsche's book, The Genealogy of Morals, in which the moral philosophy of Christendom is reinterpreted in a drastically new way. In this video, Brandom critiques the common way in which philosophical genealogy is approached, without rejecting the idea entirely.
