This was the first time I watch basketball, this was the day I became a drose fan, this was the day I would never forget.

enzo cherikh Iverson was no where near as fast or strong as Rose. Rose was unquestionably more athletic. Iverson only had a better shot. Roses crossover was much faster and was actually a crossover and not a carry like Iversons.
That move at 6:34 was one of my favorite Moves by Kobe. I remember watching this game live and immediately running outside to my driveway to try and practice that over and over when I was in middle school. RIP Kobe and Gigi and everyone who was on that helicopter. thank you so much for everything.

maan i remember watching this on christmas with my family at the christmas party, i remember in 4th grade when i made my black history project on Derrick Rose. This man was and is an inspiration in my life. When i watched him play basketball , I saw someone i could look up to. A young black man, light skin just like me, short compared to others just like I, I saw someone that I could envision myself as. Not only on the court , but off it as well. I always find myself every now and then coming back to these highlights to enjoy and look back on my childhood and how much he means to me. I remember when he got hurt against philly, i stopped practicing like i use to, because I wasn’t able to see the person that motivated me on the floor. However, watching his perseverance through everything truly inspires me more than any play or highlight he’s ever been apart of. Although, it does hurts to know that he could have been one of the greatest players to ever play the game if not the greatest point guard ever . D rose 🌹 fan for life.

Derrick Rose is a big time player that makes big time plays. When the game is on the line, there are not many players that can play under pressure during crunch time. Michael Jordan, Larry Bird and Kobe Bryant are the only ones that can play under these circumstances.
