This is the first time I've gotten to see Dr. Jerry
Dr. Jerry Graham and Family, Bobo Brazil, Bruno Sammartino, etc.--I grew up in the DC area and used to see these guys on regional TV broadcasts when I was a kid. Bruno just died. RIP to all these guys. They were the originals.
Awesome stuff! Shoot interview before shoot interviews were a thing!
Dr Jerry was Vince McMahon’s childhood idol & favorite wrestler. He wanted to be a wrestler like Dr Jerry Graham…but Vince Sr wouldn’t allow it.
Why the f*** are they sitting so dam close 🤣
Probably because Jerry is taking up 90% of the couch with his enormous girth.
Said the same thing
Don't Forget about the 4th & final Graham brother the one & only *SUPERSTAR* Billy Graham 💎
Long live the memory of the late, great Dr Jerry Graham!
xoxo
The Clarences
His favorite move was the small package, I busted out laughing for obvious reasons!
I'm glad Dr. Jerry Graham mentioned the Madison Square Garden riot with his partner Dick the Bruiser. That was a legendary incident in wrestling that was publicized in Life Magazine.
I've read Harley Race's accounts of Dr. Jerry, Jerry was Harleys manager for awhile back in the day (mostly just a famous mouthpiece), he was a morbidly obese drunk who'd mess himself and the back seat of their car during the long rides between cities until finally they rented a U-Haul trailer and put him in there
GOLDEN find. THANK You!
Sounds like the old promos from the 50’s
THIS WAS GREAT THE GUY THAT DID THIS DESERVES ALOT OF CREDIT.
Chain him to keep him away from the mules lol that's fucking funny
If someone wouldn't mind answering, what year did this interview take place?
Omg holy cow my God that is dr Jerry Graham is my favorite wrestler
Superstar Billy Graham
He looks like he could be BoBo and Lil Debul's brother from the movie 'Nothing But Trouble'
I guarantee you nobody was as heartbroken to see the legendary Dr. Jerry Graham like this than Vince McMahon Jr. as he was Vince's favorite wrestler when he was a teenager, I'm shocked Vince hasn't inducted him into the WWE Hall of Fame, as he deserves to be there regardless.
EnforcerX71 I think they put him in this year
I know, Vince Jr asolutely adored Dr Jerry Graham, he needs to be in the WWE HOF
He is in the HOF.
Really?, when was he inducted?
They put him in the Legacy Wing in 2017. It was a video package that aired during the ceremony. The first Legacy Wing class was in 2016 with Lou Thesz, Ed Strangler Lewis, Pat O'Connor, Frank Gotch, George Hackenschmidt, Mildred Burke, and Sailor Art Thomas. The second Legacy Wing class was in 2017 with Dr Jerry Graham, Rikidozan, June Byers, Judy Grable, Bearcat Wright, Luther Lindsey, Farmer Burns, Haystacks Calhoun, and Toots Mondt.
I just read the story that when his Mother died, he allegedly picked up her corpse, put her over his shoulder and left the hospital, put her in the front seat of his car and drove away. He supposedly was institutionalized for a period after this. Can anyone confirm if this is true?
rugger104 TRUE he loved his mother very much. She left him nothing in her will.
does it SOUND true? it sounds like BULLSHIT to me. superstar (and wrestlers in general) is not exactly noted for honesty.
spectrumlocalb191 Well She didn’t like him much in return.
@@spectrumlocalb191 It's worse than that actually. Graham had sent his mother money for years on a regular basis, which he expected to use in his retirement. She gave it to a televangelist
@@capacola262743 100% TRUE except he didn't drive away with the body. He threw it on top of a stack of construction pallets as he held off the cops with a bowie knife.
when was this? 87, 88 maybe??
wonder if this was a fan he stayed with?
it just rolls off the good DR.s tongue lol
1986
The Graham Brothers were the best!
Brian Lass?
Reminds me of john wayne gacy.
JEEEEEZUS...Jerry shooting on the athletic commissions in Florida.
Love it!
What date was this done?
1986 I think
1986 I picked him up from the airport and he stayed at my house the 1st day and I helped him get An apartment in greenpoint New York
@@billsololu9075 Cool that was very nice of you👍
he let himself boldly go
very Colorful shirt 🌈
It was in style back then thanks to Magnum PI.
Eddie looked like Marlon Brando and he still offed himself!!!!!
SUICIDE IS NEVER AN OPTION
INFANY
WHO IS THE INTERVIEWER HERE? WAS JERRY GAY?
spectrumlocalb191 Looks like it.
No he definitely wasn't gay. Geeze
Maddog Graham Yes he was.
@@Batman-wv5ng He was my close friend for years, and he definitely was not gay.
Maddog Graham everybody sad he was gay.
