Did not realize until this year after owning a wide range of John Deer and other mfgs., this tractor is probably the best for all around. Cannot beat’em.
@@iafarmer ok deal. Only problem is I don't have anything big enough to put behind it. Maybe I can hook multiple things together and have a big ol train. Catch you later
Those are pretty good tractors, our 4755 has the same steering shaft seal leak. It's on the list with tons of other things competing for my time to fix them. I do most of my own mechanical work, would be nice to have a shop to work in but dirt floor shed it is here, albeit with concrete where the benches are.
So far i really like it. I do all the minor repair work myself but when it comes to taking large pieces of a tractor apart i leave it to someone who will get it back together without having parts left over haha. I know what you mean on the dirt floor, only nice thing is you dont have to worry about spilling oil or mud on the floor
Have to admit, just a little jealous and maybe even a little bit envious.......but I am like Brett, I don’t have enough equipment on the farm all hooked together to make one like that even grunt. She is a beast....glad you had good luck with her.
Nice looking girl!! She's been treated right! Anything can happen to anything, high or low hours.. seen a few self destruct at 2,010 or so, just out of warranty...
@@iafarmer outfit I hauled silage for had an 8320, at 1600 hours it peed itself.. dumped all the fluid in the pit!! It was fixed, at 2000 hours it started making noise. I took over for the kid that was pushing, called the owner, said it was making a different noise. Seems the dealer had checked it out, all was good. LMAO!! Second load I pushed, she quit moving. 25' in the air, top of the pit, 40' from the highway.... OMG!! You could see it for ten miles!!! Seems there was a pump drive issue. They were recalled.... But only the ones with less than 2,000 hours. History of issues on this one, needles to say, the C-IH 305 that replaced it, ran for about 10,000 before they traded it in..
4960 content gets an automatic “like” from me. One of the best tractors ever made.
👍hard to beat the old horses

These tractors and the old magnums were some of the most reliable tractors made to date.
With all the work that's gone into it it's almost like you got a new tractor. Sure am glad I found that gem for you 😁 lol
No kidding, you forgot to pay for it tho lol
@@iafarmer well if I'm going to pay for it I'm going to use the darn thing
Fair enough ill share haha. Sure beats the 8630
