Don't enjoy the music and agree,, let us hear the power. Have to turn the sound down. But great to see the Deere with the V-Plow. More continuous video rather than the short shots much more enjoyable. Thanks for posting. The grader driver is having the most fun.
What a nice video, it makes me want to take a grader out and play in the snow! I’ve opened northern roads in the springtime but never had a V plow to do it with.
And 49 more people agree. I've never been a fan of videos like this with music. For one, you can possibly pick something that would satisfy everyone anyway, so just leave the natural sounds.
Honest question, why aren’t more snow blowers used in these applications? The plow or v-plow leaves huge mounds of snow right there. Why not throw it 10-30 yards off to the side?
Camera work is awesome beautiful scenery and an experienced operator would like to know where this was recorded would rather hear machine working than music
Is this somewhere in Canada? The scenery is quite nice. The camera work is EXCELLENT!! All of us who watch this enjoy and challenge of man and machine versus the snow. Not all of us, however, have the same taste in music. Like the previous commentator, I would prefer the "natural" sounds. Still, it is a very good video so keep up the good work with your camera.
I can see the necessity of the V plow but then later a straight plow would have been useful. I am one who would rather hear the engine than that music.
Lol..... Welcome to the boondocks. My son made me laugh when he complained that all the school bus drivers were old farmers/ranchers and didn't care about the snow depth. The buses were gonna run, and school is in session.........ha ha.
Ben Halonen no I haven’t. I tried some heated wiper blades on the sand trucks last year. They were great at first but then the squeegee just started peeling off. I forget what brand they were. I wasn’t impressed after that.
Our small township plow operator's used to let some of us volunteer firefighters ride along when they would go 'up in the hills' in the middle of the night. It always seemed like an adventure in a winter wonderland. Jim or Fred (supervisors) would let us operate the 'wing plow' on our side of the truck. We had duties like spotting for overhead wires when the box was tipped up to move the cinder load back to the spreader. I remember getting to drive the plow truck about a quarter mile down the road when Fred played a prank on a friend of his. He knew his bud left the keys in his pickup truck, so in the middle of the night, we moved it down the road to his neighbor's driveway, lol. Jim and Fred told us that we were 'on the payroll' for those nights. We thought it was a play on words and they'd give us a few bucks out of their own pockets, but sure as heck, I got a check mailed to me from the township office. Pretty cool stuff for a 18 to 20 year old.
That's nothing. When I was a kid I shoveled that much snow on my way to school in the morning. I would have to start shovelling in the fall even before it snowed just to keep up. You folks these days have it easy. We didn't even have winter boots, we just wrapped barbed wire around our bare feet so we would have traction in the snow and ice. Plus, we had to carve our own snow shovels out of a big chunk of wood. With a penknife! Music sucked, btw.
Where do graders get all their traction from? I know 4 drive wheels in the back, but they push so much snow and don't seem to spin very much or need chains? And yes, I do realize they get stuck sometimes, but they move so much snow with so little effort!
Please post again with only the sound of the gorgeous Deere diesel.

just pure fantastic footage.....The last time I plowed snow was in Wisconsin back in 2001....loved it n miss it...
Impressive!
As a kid back in the 60’s and 70’s, I always knew we had some serious snow and drifting when the grader went by my house.
Beautiful work! Close to 25 tons, 6 wheels, and big time torque and HP can really clear snow in a hurry.
Strong machine and a confident operator that knows his stuff - That's a great combination!
What a nice video, it makes me want to take a grader out and play in the snow! I’ve opened northern roads in the springtime but never had a V plow to do it with.
Everyone who's ever snow shovelled a lot ever is loving this
Brother I don’t know how you got all of that great video footage, but that was incredible! Nice job!😎👍🏾
Ce film est magique. Belle performance du 872 et de son opérateur.
I could watch this all day thanks
LOVED the video would have preferred the turbo sound though!
Looks like fun! Nice machine. Good operator.
I'll sub if the music stops not being a jerk but the natural sounds and the wrk is what I like
WOW. That machine moves an unbelievable amount of snow!
Cool video!
Nice job. I want snow like that to plow with my 772
Love it. I could watch this all day
The 2 of 872 indicates its a 6 wheel drive. All Deere grader model numbers are that way.
I get it. 8+7+2=17. 7-1=6.
I love the video but would have preferred JD noise instead of music.
@die warlock that's some mean comeback lol
THAT was music?????????????????
When you edit videos doesnt allow for good consistent noises. Music is to take that away.
Just think how deep the snow will be when it drifts in again? It just gets deeper and deeper until it melts!
Am I the only one who wants to hear the machine and not the stupid music?
No, I'd rather hear the machine too.
And 49 more people agree. I've never been a fan of videos like this with music. For one, you can possibly pick something that would satisfy everyone anyway, so just leave the natural sounds.
I did this for a living. Screw the machine noise........I like the music
He didn’t listen about the music even his older video people say the same thing
@@kellywalker8407 ditto, let the idiots suffer, great music
Would have been a thumbs up if grader sound instead of music..
With that snow and that great equipment, the video could be awesome no doubt.

Bet he was not listening to that in the cab lol 😂
The right tool, for the right job. TFS!
Watching those wheels turn all day must get tyresome:o) Cool machine though, nice set of blades.
He's not watching the tires.

Damn that's some snow !
Watching this today, it's 95 degrees out and humid. I can't wait until it snows again!
Great video! Is that a joystick controls unit?
Why do they always have to ruin a good video with music
How does the driver know where the road is?
I can see the necessity of the V plow but then later a straight plow would have been useful. I am one who would rather hear the engine than that music.
Me Too!
Is this around Hinton , I swear this looks familiar , thank you
Is there clean version without country noise?
Can the music. Let's hear the machine!
Between all those different camera angles and the wind noise, I serously doubt he picked up any good audio. Give him a break
Awesome vid love bustin roads open 👍
Very nice and interesting video. Great music. I felt bad for the person making all of those foot prints. Somebody has to do it. Thanks.
Tough job, but beautiful country!
Thanks for the video
Nice, I seen the ritchie bros sticker, recent buy? As someone who plows also, that looks sweet.
Was bought at Ritchie bros but probably 18,19 years ago.
@@kevinbunker wow, she's in great shape.👍👍
Did that Sunday in North Central Ohio with a champion 730A.
Always have, always will, love Champion graders. The city and the highway department where I grew up used 562’s then 740A’s.
Pretty cool video! Thanks for sharing!
довольно проходимый грейдер👍
Nice grader video. Are those attachments common for snow plowing?
In heavy snow country yes, they are.
Now that's how to plow snow.

HEY. Music is funky. Bow chicka wow wow HEY. (Tamborine)
Did you ever try Everblade heated wiper blades on your grader?
Ben Halonen no I haven’t. I tried some heated wiper blades on the sand trucks last year. They were great at first but then the squeegee just started peeling off. I forget what brand they were. I wasn’t impressed after that.
Better to run with the windshield cold that way the snow blows off
These heated blades don't care if heat is on or off. They keep wipers ice free all winter.
Try these heavy duty ones. They have a 1 year warranty at www.everblades.com
Nice and smooth
Frikun amazing and beautiful machine
Amazing keep up the good work
You the man buddy.
Se mira divertido aser eso con la motoniveladora 👍
Drop the hillbilly music and let us hear the sound of the beautiful diesel engine
Get er done
Vids like this should always say how many drive wheels , what the motor is , whether turbo’ed ,horsepower & torque & & lets hear some of it barking
love this, sure would like to do this once in my life

Sounds like you were shoveling💩....but the barbed wire idea sure comes in handy for early Spring Ice Fishing 🐟 🎣!!🚨☺👍
Random Guy that right we shoveled snow up hill both ways, and naked in a speedo with flip flops
Ah yes I remember it well...My Dad said hurry it up...I used a dull pocket knife...
@@paulthesoundguy1
It was only the rich kids in our neighborhood that had flip flops. Sounds like you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth.
I have a bad case of sarcastic humor
You have a bad case of believing what you read.....
Water and oil fire and ice. Was a joke😁
what's that guy shouting about?
Trleslld
How does he know where the road even is.
he is smart...
The singer shouts HEY if he goes off the edge of pavement.
the hard part is finding the road. its happened to me
Where do graders get all their traction from? I know 4 drive wheels in the back, but they push so much snow and don't seem to spin very much or need chains? And yes, I do realize they get stuck sometimes, but they move so much snow with so little effort!
All wheel drive. Literally just about the same differennce as a two wheel drive pickup to a 4 wheel drive pickup. Good snow tires too.
@@kevinbunker I have 4 wheel drive and a 500' driveway, I'd love to be able to push that much snow and not spin a wheel!
Well in the case of this video it’s all about the vplow. Without it I don’t go anywhere.
It's a big heavy machine designed to move earth..so snow is no problem
@@garethifan1034 I agree, but packed snow and ice can get pretty heavy and is very slippery compared to dirt and gravel?
No frost in that road. I love opening up roads that haven't been plowed in a while.
Same way I like my women .... just sayin' ....
I love snowmobiling, but those roads are tougher to open.....lol
Сурер а не машина почаще показывайте интересно ОЧЕНЬ

Kick ass video!!
Why do not use a Snow Plower ?
I think this is the better Option !
Guess it’s time to trade in my John Deere 318. Thanks for sharing
I could deal with that view all day long! Gorgeous
Where is this located?
Northern British Columbia
No chains on the tires, are they spiked? I can't believe the traction it get's!
Just let a little Air, out the Tires, is all, maybe. A few Gallons of Fresh (not Frozen) Horse Glue improves Tackiness.
Was that too much push the snow?
Awesome!
How it be done ✔
Nice.
Equipped like that (V-plow and two wing plows) I am guessing $450,000 USD, new?
tax money pays it
I’d rather my tax money goes for a Deere grader than anything Komatsu makes.
your music WAS PERFECT
Anything that's built to push dirt will plow snow like it weighs nothing.
Farm tractors same thing.

I bet you chuckled several times, when you buried the camera man!
Excellent music👍

Sweet video, I hit notifications on cause UA-cam was screwing me out of your vids, problem solved!

When you plow like this every day....
Yea, well, screw the engine noise.
