It evokes a time and place so relatable to all of us. I can't think of a singer who has the ability to stop an audience in their tracks like Barbra. The public knows me as the Rock vocal coach and singer, but damn I love Babs singing. Such a beautiful voice full of tone, emotion and intent. Never just "going through the motions" of a song - you feel every note. She has obviously taken care of her instrument to sing like this at age 70.

I also might think I’d never seen her live, and undescribable feeling also when in 2020 realized many great vocalists from many genre have passed away, i mean even before this year too, in which I then won’t ever seen them live. I hope more great singer can achieve the same musicality as barbra and the great artist we had before. I am writing this 58 years after I first discovered Barbara. It was 1963. My father brought home The Barbra Streisand Album. I was hooked from the first listen. Little did I know that Barbara would be an ongoing part of my life. My father owned several radio stations. I became Program Director in 1969, charged with bringing our FM station into a POP format, known in those days as Easy Listening. It was a task I was ready for. My top 10 playlist was lead by Barbara, Frank Sinatra, Vic Damone, Shirley Bassey, Herb Albert, Anthony Newley, The Carpenters, Cher, Diana Ross and Dionne Warwick. Barbra was way out front in this group. I couldn't imagine that Barbara's voice would only improve with time. The Broadway Album was one of those moments where I thought she had reached the epitome of her career. But here I am, 58 years later and she is still my favorite artist. I saw Barbara LIVE at the International Hotel in Las Vegas in the summer of 1969. Elvis was playing the same hotel. I saw Barbra again on New Year's Eve 2000. Her TIMELESS Concert remains an outstanding showcase of her career and like Barbara, shall always remain Timeless.

Truly touching. You can tell that she really loved and respected Marvin. She seemed to wipe away tears at one point, then at the end, was really emotional.
