Thanks dude much help, was worried about needing a head unit upgrade to run my sub disabling those extra vehicle controls! ..what is the unit called where you’ve connected the speaker cables to? ..and did you find a spare fuse port for the remote cable or just tap in to the heated seats?
I actually tapped into the moonroof! If you don't have one maybe the fuse port is empty/available? And the unit is called PAC SNI-35 Variable LOC Line Out Converter. I got mine on amazon.
thx for the vid. fist owners.. theres a firewall gromit straight back from the clutch pedal. at least on my 18 there is. Use it. that route uses less cable, less hassle, much cleaner and faster than fender for power.
logan smith I didn’t want to deal with drilling, or the chance of water seeping through. This gasket is a clean, noninvasive install, and based on what I read about the firewall is easier to route
Nice video I’m currently installing my set up in my st. What does the ground location look like? Is it right next to the seat belt bolt? I think I found it but it has a 2 wire harness grounded to it, is that it?
softwar3UPDAT3 yes I believe so. I did this so long ago I can’t remember, but the ground back there should be obvious. Remember to reconnect the wires you remove.
Zack Mejias ok thanks, the bolt goes through the harness which has exposed metal rings on both sides and then what looks like a metal rivnut in the body of my car. I put the ground ring under the harness so it’s sandwiched between the harness and body. Hoping this is correct. I just couldn’t find anything online showing exactly where and what it looks like. I appreciate your help!
Jake Davison I have no idea, something to do with sending signal through a ground loop idk. I just followed the instructions it came with and I believe it also had some brown wires that I just left untethered.
So the video cut out. You mentioned 2 wires. Did you tap into 4 wires total? Pos/neg left rear and pos/neg right rear? If so what color were your other 2 wires? Thanks, love the video the rest is great.
Hey, I’m new to this sort of thing :/ the wires you tapped into are for the left and right on the sub, correct? If so, which one is left and which is right?
Robert Handoll sorry for the delay. It doesn’t matter. You can switch the way you plug your cable into the amp if your bass cancels itself out. You have to guess and check.
Tony Portillo I’m not sure what you mean. The converter has several wires, some tap into the left speaker cable, some tap into the right speaker cable. Then you can connect a left and right into the box with your sub cable (blue in this video)
@@miguellayug6792 even if your car doesn’t have a moonroof, it will have a fuse slot for a moonroof. Yours will be empty so it’ll be easy for you. Look at your manual and there will be a fuse map. The fuse box is behind the glove compartment
What about the LOC? Can i just tap the live, ground and remote on my amp with it? Or does it need to go somewhere else. Especially the remote line for the LOC.
@@kcaz94 ye i end up buying the same little box to connect the speaker cables, never done this before but all done now, thanks to you and the rest of google. Thanks
Anshul chouhan I used my sunroof fuse. I apologize for the delay. You can get a plug that will split a fuse. You’ll then find a fuse that turns on and off with your car that isn’t critical (sunroof) and tap into it.
Don't even own a Ford, but this is an incredible overview of your install and will be helping me with mine.... Much Love
A Black Piggie much appreciated! Hope your project turned out well!

Zack Mejias Great help! Thanks dude! 🙌🏻
Nice job! I am amazed that you know how to do all that
thanks man, putting my sub in my 17 ST and wanted to figure out what wires to tap into. your phone cut off just after i figured it out ;D
Yeah sorry about that. My phone was acting up and full, so after three tries in the rain i said screw it! lol
I recently purchased skar combo 2400 peak and 1200 rms, will it affect my car battery or altenator. I have fiesta se 2015

crz john thanks but I didn’t want to go through the firewall

softwar3UPDAT3 no prob. If the amp turns on you’ll know it’s grounded!
Zack Mejias right on thanks again!
Why are there so many wires coming from the LOC? Did you put two wires tapped into the one wire for the speakers?

How did you pop off the panel on the left side of the dashboard, to pull the amplifier power cable. I tried but I can not remove it
TeamKansloos pull it outwards. It should pop off.
@@kcaz94 UK model or EU model? I have a 2014 EU model
TeamKansloos not sure honestly. I live in the USA, I think mine was made in mexico

The video looks like it was blue and brown and brown and white. But u said it was blue and brown and blue and white. Which one is it?
I did the same thing with the converter box. but why do you have 4 cables in total going into the box?
Strato-Fortex I don’t know i just followed the instructions it came with and a guide on the fiesta forum.
Bro do you have to put an output converter for each side or that one comes for both sides?
Tony Portillo the converter has red and white outputs, standing for left and right sound. So yes, one converter will send both channels.
@@kcaz94 thanks bro!
I also saw that you only wire the converter to the left speaker, what about the right one?

Hi. What are the speaker cables ?. What color are they?. And the power cable?
Byrond96 speaker cable is blue in this video and has two plugs on both sides. The cables I tap into might be different for your car.
Can u send a link for the box thing cant find it any where
really good install guide ;)
Thanks!
What fuse did u tapped into?
I used the moonroof fuse because it turns on and off with the car.

How do i connect the radio to the amp for sound, or any other way.
