i mean jarno is 10x more talented in racing than other drivers in psgl😄 just amazing drive and strategy. from p7 to nearly winning the race and losing to pole sitter by 1 tenth because of drs is just incredible performance

@@bentowle3478 both of them are unreal. Jarno was so dominate he made them look like 80% ai back in f12020 and 21. But Blakey was so fast in f122.
I don’t agree, I think Lucas is still the best driver right now, followed by Jarno and third being Bari who is very fast but also very dirty
@@willho4202 it has to be damn close between Blakey and jarno. Last years car model was very different, but Blakey was unreal.The current model we have now is closer to the f1 2020 or 21 model so the time of the opmeer dominance so idk who you give the edge to.

Strange how fragile these pedals are, my drumpedals take way more kinetic energy and are still fine after decades. Someone should probably invent a steel-reinforced pedal.
He runs extremely stiff springs because of his history in IRL formula racing, so when he brakes he uses his entire leg like a pistol squat. Unfortunately the league regulates your hardware so he can’t use better equipment fit to handle his preference. That’s why the equipment he uses when he streams is different than the league racing equipment. And also why his stream equipment doesn’t break when he uses it.
Drum pedals are built to last numerous uses, similar to a keyboard key. Low force for full actuation, but millions of reps. Sim racing springs are built to give you feedback and resistance, slightly different task and unfortunately they get worn out in a few years even if you maximize their life span
Edit: I’m an idiot, the leagues don’t regulate hardware, the esports drivers use their esports hardware for familiarity.

@tresyy psgl is meant to be practice for f1 esports since almost everyone there is in f1 esports, there's no point using practicing with different equipment than he'll actually be using.

I think Jarno wins this race barring Bari passing Dani. Not to mention that it wasn't exactly a clean move on Bari's part. A lot of contact and ended up pushing Dani off.

I think it is for the different Leagues, WOR, PSGL and F1 Esport
He's got 3 teammates at Mercedes for F1 Esports, Marcel Kiefer, Jake Benham and Dani Bereznay. So probably Jarno will drive in Esports and one of these guys together with him.

at 23:23 you were barely accelerating anymore and still using overtake, I've noticed this in past races as well, I think if you use your ERS more effectifely you could dominate this game even more

Question because I’m still an amateur to sim racing, would it have been better to let Barry pass on the first DRS zone on the last lap to maybe get him at the last DRS zone or would that have compromised u to maybe getting passed by p3 because of tire ware
I think the only strategy that was alternate to this one, which was correct, was if he let Bari passed at the end of lap 35 to DRS jump him at the start of lap 36 down the 2nd DRS zone, but I think that once again would of ended the same as we've seen here, Purely because of the tyre grip being too poor
@@mozzaplaysgames7897 yeah I agree, Bari would've probably gapped Jarno by 5-6 tenths throughout the last lap, and Jarno would've had the exact same battle has he had now with Bari but then with Lucas

Quick question. Is PSGL a big competition? Or is it only a training for esports? Is there a kinda big price pool for the champions of each season?
It’s a league race which means it is a competition but I am not entirely sure of the prize pool. Anyways it’s full of esports drivers so the competitivness of the league is very high and a very great training for F1 esports. Hope that answered your question🤗
@@parmnation7633 Thanks mate yeah I was thinking so considering it has the value of 20 esports drivers. But I haven’t heard Jarno talking anything about the prize pool so I think it’s just a great practice?

I hope it will be jake. It was very funny seeing those two just playing, not really racing in the same lobby. I hope it will start really soon too, but I think we’ll have to wait for esports to finish because Jarno will really want to get this title and will train very hard, so he will not have time to be messing around with Jake😂
I hate driving in the rain. I can't even begin to comprehend how to drive this car in the rain. I wish I could permanently disable rain because i can't do a single lap, crash out lap one anyway...
Seems like softer tires at the beginning of a race makes more impact than softer tires at the end, when your tank is empty. You NEED that extra grip at the beginning.
This is the official F1 driving game? Unrealistic... REAL F1 doesn't have any close racing at the front :P

I've learned an infinite amount from watching ur vids. Shifting, defending overtaking, etc. I came from NASCAR so none of those things really mattered. Especially nowadays where in NASCAR punt the guy out of the way for the position. Shame what NASCAR has come to. F1 is INFINITELY better. And this video proves that 10x. Keep at it Flopmeer.
@cockmcballs4577 I wouldn't say it takes NO talent at all. I mean some tracks certainly need talent. Martinsville, Watkins Glen, the new street course, the new Atlanta but tracks like COTA its just a circus. Everyone plowing into each other it's just awful. The only time I watch NASCAR now is when nothing else is on.

I liked seeing you try out a new strategy and to be honest it really seemed to work out well, i don’t know if going long like you usually do would’ve helped that much in this race. Nice vid and keep up with the training, hopefully we’ll celebrate a 3rd Jarno Opmeer title at the end of this F1 esports season.
Jarno is a brilliant defender so I think doing this more regularly would work out nicely, remember his defence against Ronhaar at Abu Dhabi

Why the my team cars?
F1 esports organizers and/or fanatec have to do something about those pedals, in their current state and build quality they should not be breaking like that. I even watched you have calibration issues with the same model of pedals during the one stream I actually hopped on to watch (bahrain TT). Fanatec has some redesigning to do and F1 esports organizers have a decision to make on what pedals to switch to..
