I recently bought 2 Wosport G600 trail cameras to replace a 5 year old Moultrie unit that got damaged. The pictures, day and night, were very good, they were sharp and clear and I was very surprised and quite satisfied with the ease of setup and use. The videos were excellent also! I consider this to be money very well spent! (got them at 1/2 normal price now at "that big online seller") Only one gripe though - It was difficult to get the 1/4-20 threaded rod mounting hardware to lock down. It took quite a bit of force, with wrenches and pliers, to secure the camera to the threaded mounting post so it wouldn't change position every time the cover was opened and closed. The finger-twisted clamps for the 2 positioning "ball joints" were hard as well to get tight enough to prevent some slippage. Overall, it's a good camera and I look forward to using it.
Yeah, this unit has surprised. It is still in the field and has worked really good. I dropped it and the screen went out, but the camera still works fine. I just can't change the settings anymore.
@@nothingbutgadgets- It's nice to be pleasantly surprised regarding some tech items working better than expected. In fact, I'm going to get a couple more to have a spare and 1 for a gift to an elderly neighbor of mine with problems of strangers passing through his rural property as a shortcut.
For some reason, I have the same trail cam as you, but my settings are in a different order, and you have some settings I don’t have, and I have some you don’t have. My main issue though, is that I have all the settings on that I want, but I’m getting nothing. At first, I thought it was just because I have a small backyard (we do have opossums and squirrels though) but then my dog ran by the cam, and it only took two pictures, even though I have it set to take videos too. That’s also the only thing it’s ever recorded, even when me or my dad walk past it.
I hate tell you this, but it sound like the unit is defective. If you just bought it, I would send it back and get a refund or exchange. Mine is still working, though the LCD is broken, but that is my fault for dropping it on concrete.
If you bought it from Amazon, you have 30 days to Return it. It is defective, so it does not matter that you have used it. You have to use something to discover if it has a problem.
So how do you play back the videos? Nowhere in the instructions does it tell you. Can't find a UA-cam video on the subject, either. I fooled around with it and got two videos to play back and not I can't replicate that action.
go into aim, press ok, if you have any pics/vid, most recent will display. up/down arrows to scroll through them, (up scrolls down the numbers ??) (down goes to the first pic/vid then scrolls up from there) on any given number, right arrow will play the vid if there is one. click ok to go back to regular operating mode.
I bought this camera for my husband and we can't figure out how to look at the pictures on a seperate camera. The camera itself says 700+ pics but we don't want to stay and view them all in the woods so we removed the SD card but once we got it home it says 0 pics. Is there a trick to this?
Hmmm...? When you stuck the card in your PC, did it ask your it Repair the card? If it did, did you say Yes or No. Windows sometimes does not like the formatting of trail cameras and think the card needs to be repaired, but it does not. Always click NO. Never say Yes to the repair. If you did say yes, it may be that it formatted the card and erased all the content.

Thanks for replying so fast. Can I still get a refund if I’ve used it a couple times before? It isn’t damaging at all though

Great Review! I would have loved to see some videos and pictures but as far as how to.. As good as it gets.
Thanks. I do the review separate. Here is the review: ua-cam.com/video/_4Ej9PbM8b0/v-deo.html
Thanks for the video.
You're welcome. Glad it helped.
I only get about 30 feet of a distance on this one. It's not a bad product
👍
thanks!

Can you play the videos on your phone?
What app do you use
I am not sure what you mean, this is not a WiFi trail camera. There is no app for it.

Hey i know this maybe old but any way of resetting the password for this product?
Some people have had success by using the word OPEN as the password. I don't know if it will work, but It is worth a try.
How can I record more than two minutes?
I do not believe there is a way to do what you want.
How do you mount it?
With a strap or a hardware mount.
Lo requiero en español

But you didn’t tell how to delete…..🤷
I pull the card out to view and delete the files on a computer or phone. It would take a long time to delete all the files one by one in the camera.
Thanks for pointing out that if you want the camera always on, turn off SET ACTIVE TIME. Poor instructions.

Can you view pics on camera or do you need to put as card in computer ?
There is a screen on the camera for viewing the images. However, it is quite small and not very good, so it is not great for using to view images.
